Wonderful stay and host!

This cute little cabin was a great place to completely disconnect from the business of the day to day and enjoy the beautiful mountains and scenery. The hosts were so kind and accommodating! I would recommend this little get away to anyone that needs a nice ‘reset’.

Quiet and secluded getaway

This property is perfect for a weekend to literally "get away" from it. There is not much close by, so take stuff to cook on the grill. The kitchen is small but manageable with some necessities in there like cookware and dishware and a convection oven that I baked a whole birthday cake in. A great place to hide from reality for a few days if you're into quiet and seclusion. We really liked it.

We had a very peaceful stay. Tammy is a wonderful host. She went out of her way to show us the trial and a nearby wonderful view point in the mountains. She was also very friendly and very helpful. This place has a fishing pond on site and we had fun try fishing in there. You wake up in the morning and you see Cows and Horses just outside the Cabin. One of my kid accidently had an injury and Tammy helped with an appointment to the hospital. A great stay and friendly people and we would be certainly visiting again

If you want to get away from it all THIS is the place. The cabin is amazing for a family just wanting a get away. Plenty of beds in the loft and so comfortable. The cabin overlooks a small pond and If you are stargazer at night you can see more constellations than you remember we had in the night sky. Truly nature at its best!! Tammy the host was amazing at giving us places to see.

Peaceful, comfortable, and lots of family fun

Our family of five had such a wonderful time at the Black Fork Cabin 1. The property itself was peaceful, welcoming, and picturesque – with cows and horses roaming freely and trails beckoning our little adventurers to explore. We absolutely loved meeting our gracious and thoughtful host who offered to give us a tour of the property on our first day. What fun it was to see the wildlife as well as a gorgeous sunset as we drove through the hilly terrain. The trails on the property feature some cute surprises that were especially fun for our kids to discover. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt cozy and clean – a place we all enjoyed hanging out. Everyone slept well in the beds in the loft area; the air conditioners kept the place perfectly cool; the mini fridge was big enough for the food supplies we had packed for our four-day weekend; the game cabinet was loaded with a variety of board games; the porch and fire pit area was a restful spot where my husband and I could enjoy coffee or read while the kids had a great time chasing little frogs and grasshoppers. We definitely recommend this cabin and we hope for the opportunity to visit again!

Charming, small cabin - authentic camping & kind host

The cabin is quaint and remote, but cozy! If you are looking for something small and you want to disconnect it is perfect. There are so many beds which is really great for families. The host is also extremely hospitable! There was a predicted winter storm during our stay and she went above and beyond to double check that everything was safe and communicated anything we would need to know.
