Summary:

Visit beautiful Franklin, TN and stay at the Highland House!

This 2-bedroom bungalow is a short walk or drive down Adams Street to the heart of Downtown Franklin, which offers boutique shopping, an old fashioned movie theater, and our favorite coffee shop in all of Nashville! Tucked away & surrounded by large maple trees and historic homes, Highland House is a cozy place to spend your vacation, festival home base, couples getaway or holiday! Guest occupies private wing of home.



The Space:

Newly renovated and outfitted with two bedrooms; each with soft beds, a large sofa in the main living area, work station, refrigerator, Keurig with Starbucks coffee, tiled shower, towels, closets with hangers, hi speed Wifi and smart tv to login to your favorite subscription accounts; perfect for a quiet night in! We are easy to locate; street and driveway parking are available.

A great living space for one to five people. You will fall in love with our farmhouse inspired home! The fireplace in the home is not in working order.



The front part of the house may be occupied, but is separate from this space. The yard is not fully fenced in and the backyard is shared between the two units.



This space does not include a full kitchen, but we do offer a keurig, coffee and creamer, a small refrigerator, and microwave.



*Dogs Allowed on a case by case basis (max 2). $125 pet fee per pet. Please inquire w/ host before booking. Breed restrictions apply. No Cats allowed. Pet fee will be added to reservation after booking. Dogs are not allowed on furniture and must be kept in kennel at all times while left alone in unit.



All properties are contactless checkin. Please be sure to arrive to checkin between 4pm & 8pm. If you do arrive later, you will still be able to checkin but may not have assistance if needed. Checkin time is always 4pm unless approved in writing by management. If you book through Airbnb and edit your checkin time to be earlier than 4pm, you will not be able to checkin until 4pm.



If making a reservation with a same day checkin, checkin time is subject to change depending on cleaning schedule for that day.



Sorry, we do not host locals. Any local that books this property without contacting management first for approval will have the reservation canceled without refund.



No parties or gatherings of 5 people or more please! If you do not comply, you will receive a negative review and will be charged additionally for extra clean up.



For reservations that are made through platforms other than Airbnb, and guest is entitled a refund, guest will be charged a 3% credit card processing fee that is deducted from their refund.

Overall good stay, but the was not a sofa bed as listed, the living room floors were a bit dirty, and a cheese stick was left on the table when we arrived.

Wonderful Stay

The property was in a wonderful spot in the charming town of Franklin. A nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood just 30 minutes from Nashville. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed the guest house. It was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to know they didn’t have any wash cloths to remove makeup and maybe a reminder to bring water to drink. But overall it was lovely.

Nice place tucked away in Franklin

This was a great property for my family to stay at while we visited Franklin. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we had no issues at all. It's also within a neighborhood with easy parking, so we had no noisy major streets nearby, but we were close enough to everything that no excursion felt like a pilgrimage to get there. Management was very responsive and easy to work with, and we would absolutely book here again next time we're in town.

Perfect spot for quick getaway in beautiful Franklin, TN

This property was perfect for a 2 night stay in Franklin. It was close enough to Main Street for quick drive into town. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. Communication with host was always very prompt. Neighborhood was quiet and safe enough for outdoor walks.

Perfect girls weekend

The property was beautiful. Looks like it has just been remodeled. Can’t beat the location, close to all the restaurants and shopping in Franklin. Wish the weather had been cooler so we could have walked into town. Neighborhood was quaint and quiet. Check in and out process was easy. Would definitely come back!

Fun Get away

Great property for small group! If you want a place to stay with ample space for 2 to 4 people check out this house! 2 bedrooms, 1 and a half bath. There was not a full kitchen, but a microwave, coffee pot and small Fridge that was perfect for to hold small amount of food and drink, especially if your goal was to enjoy all the eateries in Franklin! Definitely would stay again!

Very nice

We needed a place to babysit our 2 yo grandson while his parents attended a conference in Franklin. This place worked great - each had our own bedroom with plenty of space for him to run around inside and outside and a nice neighborhood for stroller walks. Also several nice parks with playgrounds and a terrific toddler playroom at the library. I hadn't noticed that there isn't an actual kitchen in the house so that was a bit tricky - but we managed fine with the mini-frig and microwave.
