Excellent host; Super cute Nashville home
The host went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The backyard is beautiful and the deck is a nice bonus. The decor was fabulous for my family's first trip to Nashville. The living room had enough seating for the whole family. The location was great, away from the noise of downtown but still just a short drive to everything.

Great location, clean , comfortable beds . More room than we thought . The older family members stayed upstairs, the younger people stayed. In the rooms in the walk out finished basement. Nice amenities. Easy check in / out.

Simply Awesome!!!!
We traveled with 10 family members for our youngest 21st birthday (yes he spent it with family) we had, us mom and dad, older brother and sister, aunt and uncle and 2 cousins! The moment we walked into the house it was warm and cozy feeling! Us older adults took the upstairs bedrooms which were very comfortable. The adult kids were all downstairs which was more than enough room for them! The kitchen has all the necessary things for cooking and suited our needs. The deck was the main focal point! It was huge with a table and chairs and a mini couch! We spent most mornings out with coffee and getting our plans in order for the day! After seeing Nashville during the day we came home and had a night cap on the deck! Perfect weather. We did Uber to a few places and for us we had to get the Xls so it was $45-$55 but better that paying for parking. I would highly recommend staying here and hopefully on our next trip we’ll stay again!! Thank you again Melissa!! Also Sue the neighbor greeted us with a friendly “hello” and was there if we needed anything!! The trip was perfect!!

The house was big enough to accommodate all of us and was very close to downtown. The deck was awesome to hang out on throughout the weekend and the neighborhood was nice and felt safe. The two complaints we had was that it didn’t appear to have been cleaned well and there is a musty smell in the house. All of us felt congested during our stay. A dehumidifier on each level of the house would be helpful.

I was disappointed in the basement where the majority of the beds were located .It was very musty smelling and the girls were waking up with sore throats .That could be normal for the area with all the heat. Maybe a humidifier would help . Bathroom upstairs had awesome water pressure but definitely needs some updates . Broken globe in upstairs bedroom ceiling fan . Broken soap dish in shower . No hand soap bathroom to wash your hands .Charcole grill was very small and we had to buy a lighter .( we didn’t use the grill) Which we left there for the next people . It served its purpose while we were there ! Upstairs rooms were real nice and comfortable. Walmart delivers to the home as well , so that helped out a lot . Uber rides very close. Never waited longer than 5 mins . Quiet neighborhood. Lots of space in the house . It was nice for our big group of girls . With a couple fixes this rating would be a 5 .

We had maintenance issues from the time we opened the door. Musty smelling, broken bed, broken soap holder, cracked tile on bathroom floor, Ice machine does not work, only 1 towel per person etc

Peace Love Nashville
This was the cutest mid century modern neighborhood and home. We loved the location and proximity to downtown Nashville. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The property is lovely and I can imagine it would be lush and green in the spring and summer. There was plenty of room for our family of 9. We loved the layout and the fact the big kids had the downstairs to themselves. We didn’t cook much while there but the kitchen seemed stocked with the basics. The cabinets and drawers were a little unorganized and could use a good wipe and edit. There was plenty of seating for everyone and the furniture was in decent condition. There was a bit of wear and tear but that is to be expected. Beds were comfy and clean. It was cold during our visit and the downstairs got a little chilly without using the og electric wall heater. One of the old heaters in the bedroom downstairs was not working but the house does have central a/c - it just didn’t seem to heat the downstairs as well as the main floor. All in all this was a great property and a great location if you want to be close to downtown and other attractions.

Family Christmas
This house was perfect for our family of 16 to hold our family Christmas. The central location was great for us to gather from all across TN and close to the airport for those family members traveling in from FL. We had plenty of bedroom space and living areas to spread out and enjoy our time together. The hostess was a great communicator and made the check-in process a breeze. The area was beautiful and we enjoyed the family feel with all the houses decorated for the holidays. A few things that the house needed in order to make our stay perfect - extra linens (the only extras were pillowcases), more than one dish towel, and some pot holders for the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Lovely place to stay!
This property is exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean on arrival and the basic instructions for check out were reasonable. We had one small issue with the stove but the owner had it handled in less than 20 minutes! Cannot recommend this place enough for your next stay in Nashville!

Very Disappointed...Do not recommend
We booked this place for a family vacation and could not have been more disappointed. The house was very musty and moldy smelling, especially in the basement where my husband and I slept. Several people in our party got sick. The carpet in the basement badly needs to be replaced. The wall heaters down there were covered in dust, thankfully we didn't need to use them. We kept the AC running to try keep the musty smell down. The laundry room only has insulation no wall covering. The kitchen cabinets especially the bottom cabinets smelled musty and moldy. We only used what we had to and washed everything before using. The kitchen wasn't really equipped to cook anyway, we ate most meals out and ordered take out. Also, there were broken cups and glasses in the cabinets. The beds were very uncomfortable and all need new mattresses. There was mold on the wall in the upstairs bathroom. It rained while we were there and a window on the living room leaked. I don't know what else I can say but this place was absolutely not worth the money we paid.

Wonderful experience!!
We were extremely pleased with this house! We had 8 people stay here but it would have been comfortable even if we had 10-12. We loved the back deck and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The Ubers from the house to downtown were a bit expensive but I think that was mainly due to us coming and going during peak hours. Super easy check in & out process and Melissa was always quick to respond when messaged. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect home!
We enjoyed our stay in Melissa’s quiet Nashville home. Easily accessible to downtown but nestled in a quiet family neighborhood. We had a party of 9 and there was plenty of room. Plenty of towels and the house was ver clean. Property owner Melissa was by far the best VRBO host we’ve ever stayed with. Very responsive and informative. Do yourself a favor. Visit Nashville and enjoy this little gem of a house. You will not be disappointed!

The home is on the smaller size but the living room is big and the sleeping arrangement is more then enough for 10 people. We had a wonderful stay with alot of late nights and laughter. The drive into Nashville is easy and only 6 miles away. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. We had a great time.

We rented this home for our family coming to our son's wedding. This home was very run down and not at all like the pictures indicated. Furnishings were old and run down, mirror in the upstairs bathroom was old and cloudy, the bathroom door knob was loose and we had to fixed it, water downstairs came out brown, closet door upstairs was off the rail, there was a leak coming from the refrigerator (water was on the floor for at least 24 hrs and we had to mop it up and eventually turned the water off, the backyard deck had strands of lights just hanging loosely and the table out there was covered with dirt - overall all the house was not in good shape - it's a shame because the house was in a great location - the house is in desperate need of updating and repair/ replacement. We called about the water which the property manger was trying to fix but we were so focused on the wedding that we just put up with the rest.

My family's stay was wonderful. House was clean, stocked with appliances and there was plenty of spread out space. We were there during an extremely hot weather week and a/c was on a timer that did not match weather. That would be the only issue we had. Neighbors were friendly. we would stay again.

Girls Trip !!
The house truly met our needs in terms of sleeping accommodations however, the pillows could be replaced more frequently( they were a little on the flat side) - not a major issue but the tub upstairs has a slow draining process, so while showering you will stand in quite a bit of water but again - not a big issue. The back patio was AWESOME - we ate our breakfast out there every morning and had our night caps out there as well. Melissa was awesome to work with regarding checking in and out, she even let us have a later check out due to our flights not leaving until early evening. The Uber/Lyft drivers that we used always mentioned what a GREAT neighborhood we were in. The average trip charge to downtown varied from $20 - $30 depending on the time of day. Did I mention - there was 10 of us and we never felt like we were cramped for space!! We had a blast while visiting and would rent this house again !!!!

The house was great! It was very large and exactly as described in the listing. My family of 4 stayed downstairs which was like our own little separate apartment almost from the rest of the family. Then upstairs was 3 more adults as well and we all had plenty of room for even more if needed. Shout out to the hot water heater too as we all shower back to back each night and NEVER ran out of hot water which was sooo nice. My daughters loved the back enclosed deck and the little games in the coffee table the most. Most definitely felt perfectly safe in the area it's located. Very large and expensive house on the streets all around and could just tell you were in a quite family neighborhood. Just a couple things to be aware of but please don't let it deter you from this house as it really was perfect. The mirror in the upstairs bathroom was clearly old which isn't an issue on its own but has some kind of permanent glaze over the top half of it that made it a little hard to see yourself for us talk folks when trying to do your hair. There were some spots that leaked from the rain we had to throw towels on but it probably didn't didn't help we came during what seemed like a monsoon and parts of the city actuay flooded so. One thing that did bother me, but it's me just being a mom and concerned about safety, was that the smoke dedctors were pulled off. You could see where they had the bases screwed in the ceilings where they should go but none of them were actually connected. Didn't bother us one bit but in case someone wants to know the downstairs area/apartment doesn't have central heat/air and instead uses 1 wall mounted ac unit in the downstairs living room but multiple wall gas heaters to use which all worked well. Overall great stay and would stay again in the future!

We came to Nashville to visit a sibling who lives there. It made more sense to stay near him since part of our group was staying at his house. The kids had plenty of space to get away. The deck was awesome for family dinners. We’ll definitely come again.

The property was depicted accurately in the Home Away descriptions. It was comfortable and clean with all the essentials available. We had seven adults and two children and had adequate sleeping accommodations. The lower level needed some air freshener to rid it of a musty smell but overall a very comfortable home.
