  • Franklin Historic Cottage on the Old Womack Distillery in Historic Downtown Franklin, TN is centrally located to Main St and Civil War Battleground with a path in the backyard to the Creek that Womack Distillery ran their mills between 1900-1909. This stone cottage was built by Dr. Dan German in 1928 as a renter's cottage made of stones from Hillsboro Road stone fences. It's a Writer's Retreat in the heart of the lyrical Delta of Nashville (20 min); Muscle Schoals, Alabama (2 hrs); Memphis, TN in the heart of downtown Historic Franklin.
