Historic East Nash Sleeps 4
Summary:
Our home located in the heart of East Nashville is perfect for guests who want a cozy oasis in a quiet neighborhood. This gorgeous and unique east Nashville home was built in 1935 as a General Store where horses and carriages would line up along waiting for the McGavock Pike Barge which crossed the Cumberland River. We heard that they used to serve "beers and beans." The front living and dining room is what stands from that original General Store.

You will enter in through the backdoor and be welcomed in by the great fully stocked kitchen with complimentary Starbucks coffee. This home also includes a large porch and backyard perfect for a relaxing or barbecuing with friends or family. The garage will not be available for guest use, the driveway can easily fit 6 cars! If you're looking for a memorable lodging experience while visiting Music City, this is it!

This little house was the perfect spot! Close to Broadway and the little town/area was perfect for local shopping and coffee shops! Super clean and spacious!
2 night stay on our Buc-ee’s roadtrip from Indianapolis. House was great for our short stay. Plenty of space and the hammocks on the deck were my son’s favorite part! Would recommend and stay again!
The home is so cute and comfortable! It had everything we needed, not too far from downtown, and was very clean. We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great and easy. Highly recommend this Home!
It was a perfect place and a perfect location! Definitely coming back and spending more time there! It was an awesome experience on every level!! Thank you again for your time and care!!
My son and I had a wonderful stay here. The home has everything that you'll need, a cool vibe, and beautiful finishes. I travel with a fan to block out noise, but didn't need it (they had fans there, and it was quiet). East Nashville can be a little sketchy, but this area felt very safe. Close to some nice restaurants too. Would love to stay here again the next time we visit.
This neighborhood is a dream. All the homes have so much character.
We loved the quietness, and that we truly weren’t a far Uber ride from what we needed.
For the 4 of us, it was just what we needed. This would also be a great place for a longer stay. We would have utilized the outdoor space more.
We had four of us stay in this home for an event at Bridgestone Arena and the location was perfect, it is in an older very nice neighborhood, but only a 15-20 minute Uber ride to Broadway. The deck is big and perfect for hanging out and relaxing. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. We would stay here again.
A friend and I came to Nashville for a black tie event and we thought that this house was the perfect place to stay! The space was perfect when we arrived. It was much bigger than we thought it was going to be from the pictures.
The house is well furnished and perfect for two couples. I'm not sure if it's mentioned, but the only potential drawback is the fact the primary entrance takes you up the stairs to the deck. Not a big deal for us, but could be a challenge if stairs are a problem. In regards to the neighborhood, we thought it was great. Quiet and seems to be going through a bit of a revival. I'd definitely stay there again.
Neighborhood was peaceful. My team and I were traveling for a fight. The master bedroom and bathroom was spacious and well taken care of.The rest of the house was also nice.I liked how the location was close to a mall with a movie theater and not to far from the airport.I recommend this spot for family and friends.
Great house. Love the layout of inside. A few minor hiccups but quickly resolved by property management! Had our two older dogs with us. One is three legged and the other has neuropathy of back legs… thought backyard would be good for them. Unfortunately, too difficult for them to get out and down the stairs. They loved deck. Also, a bit inconvenient to have to lug groceries from car into house coming from back parking area, but doable. We are 59 & 78. Very cute and quiet neighborhood. Definitely would rent again - without old and disabled dogs 😉😁.
My husband and I have 4 grown children that live in the Nashville area. We live in Georgia and the kids mother and family home is just outside of Nashville. We like to come and have the kids over on Christmas Eve so they can have Christmas Day the way they always have, in their home. We have two dogs and so we need a pet friendly place. This place is perfect. It is perfectly laid out, has a good working modern kitchen, two nice bedrooms with comfy beds and a living/eating area large enough to accommodate us. We played games in the living room which was also large enough to accommodate us. The dogs loved the large fenced back yard and we enjoyed the deck as the weather was very nice. The only thing I would not recommend is to someone who is handicapped. Our daughter just had ACL surgery and we had a heck of a time getting her into the house because the management company asks you to come and go out the back of the house. We ended up having to park a car on the grass next to the front of the house to get her in. But seniors and people with handicaps should be warned.
This is a great house to stay. The decor is unique and beautiful. The beds comfortable. The bathrooms clean, clean, clean. I highly recommend this home for your stay in Nashville.
