This area, known as Eighth Avenue South and Melrose, is home to more than meets the eye. It is likely that many of you have picked up a gently loved record at Grimey’s, discovered a gem at the Eighth Avenue Antique Mall, caught a show at Douglas Corner Cafe or The Sutler (back when Johnny Potts was the owner) or heard side-splitting comedy at Zanies. These are the establishments that have dotted Eighth Avenue and Franklin Pike since the ’70s and quickly became mainstays in the area. Today, though, they are just the tip of the iceberg, with countless new options to explore in terms of shopping, dining and living. There’s always been an entertainment component to the Melrose neighborhood and the Eighth Avenue corridor. People who have been in Nashville long enough love this area for the decades of history. People newer to the city are discovering it as part of a massive arts, dining and urban living revival,” says Austin Ray, a Nashville native who is responsible for M.L Rose, The Sutler Saloon and partner in Sinema restaurant. We are walkable to many places to eat drink on 8th Ave, A few blocks up is 12 South S. Another walkable shopping and eating area including famous Draper James, Reese Witherspoon's store and Whites Mercantile owned by Holly Williams {Hank Williams}. 12 South is also home to many of Nashville's best, locally owned, restaurants.
You have an updated kitchen well appointed with dishes and cookware , you have a coffee station with a coffee pot/ keurig for one cup or a whole pot ! Lush bath products and towels in our newly renovated bathroom tub and shower combo . In season you have an amazing pool and patio area to relax and enjoy!

Stayed here for Pilgrimage Festival so that we could be closer to Nashville when we weren’t at the festival and location was great. Easy access for the short ride to Franklin being on the south part of Nashville and a short ride or walk to things to do in Nashville. Property is exactly as it looks, a very nice and efficient layout. Pool is a nice option as well. The couch was more comfortable than the pullout mattress and the unit could use more conveniently placed power sources - things we flagged and hopefully something to address for future guests, but Mark and Scarlett were very responsive prior to and during the stay. We’d recommend and stay there again.
I've stayed at this property before. It was like returning home. Great place in a great location. Will stay again on my next trip to Nashville. Love it!
Nothing tremendously fancy about this flat, but for my solo visit to Nashville for some band rehearsals at a local studio, this was perfect. Quiet (except for periodic footsteps from unit upstairs) and easy parking. Close to all the places with easy access to I-65/40/440. Amenities were sufficient and the coffee pods and bottle of wine were nice touches. I'd return!
Great place! Great location! We had a great time. We did have trouble with the electronic keypad almost every time we left. That was annoying but it worked out fine. Also there was no curtain or frosting on the bathroom window and there is a parking garage right there. Anyone on the 2nd floor could look right in. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed the space.
This was a very well renovated room for lodging, however due to a furbaby above the property who may have been left alone and was very loud scratching and barking. And because we had a 30 drive home, we needed to get a solid nights rest. The property manager tried to find us another location and she was very helpful but unfortunately we had to cancel and find another accommodations.
Great property, tight parking, great value for price
Excellent communication from the property managers. The good: Great value for the cost. The bed was comfortable, AC was adequate, kitchen was convenient and easy to use. Very close inconvenient to a grocery store and First Watch restaurant. The bad:Really needs window coverings in the bathroom, it is a 50 year old remodeled hotel but I’m afraid the woman causes retain an ‘old odor’. I suggest bringing something with you for that. The parking lot was really really tight. If you do not drive a small car, you need one of the end spaces.I will stay there again, but not on a week long stay like I did this time.
Cozy, clean, convenient! Would book again. The hosts were awesome and very responsive. Check in was seamless and the space was very clean and well stocked.Loved the modern but vintage feel to the space!
Perfect for what we needed. Everything was as specified in listing.

Good stay but keypad problems
Great place and good area- but I had trouble with the code and keypad every time I left. Also the neighbor above me had a dog barking nonstop until about 2am and they were very loud coming home late at night.
Only stayed for two nights but it was super cute. Has all essentials you need for bathroom and kitchen. Bed was comfy, even pullout couch. Communication with renter was fast
Loved our stay here. Room was all new and very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Only minutes from everything. A couple of great places to eat within walking distance. Pool and property well maintained. Would definitely consider staying here again.
