Amazing
We had a great time. The host, Jim, is a great guy. I highly suggest this house. The house and grounds is beyond amazing. You wont regret staying here. My dog loved it as well as my family. The house is spacious and unique. Has everything you could need and is the perfect amount of distance from everything. We hated having to leave! Thank you for everything!!!

We are still waiting for someone to come out and repair/replace the pool heater. Busy time of year, apparently. Hopefully you did get some good pool time. Nashville get away
The house suited our needs very nicely. It was close enough to the city to do all the "downtown" stuff and yet keep us away from the hustle and bustle. One note: the pool is closed from November thru March. That was a disappointment. The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs that we had- thanks for replacing the garbage disposal!!

Great Hosts!!
We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were absolutely wonderful, went above and beyond, and provided lots of "extras" during our stay. Check-in was easy. The house was spacious and clean. Not overly little kid friendly, as we had a 2 and 4 year old in our group, but just had to kid proof it some and give lots of reminders. There were a few railing pieces that were broken/wobbly, but that is being nit-picky. We would definitely stay again!

Quaint and clean
Very clean. Owners had setup fruit and snacks which came in very handy as well as other supplies. The rooms were large and clean and quiet. Great place that an easy drive to central Nashville and the Opry without noise.

Southern hospitality beyond our expectations!
We have stayed at several locations through VRBO over the past 10 years. This location and our hosts were definitely the best! The home is pristine. The pantry and refrigerator were stocked so we didn’t have to think about breakfast after our 10 hour drive to Nashville! Jim and Mary were exceptional hosts throughout our stay. The pool was a wonderful treat at the end of a day of seeing the sights in Nashville. Don't hesitate to book this one. You won't be disapponted!

We had a great time during our stay! The pool was a real hit every morning. Jim was such a pleasure, he made sure we had everything we needed along with a Hot Pecan Pie that was the best pie I’ve ever tasted! Thanks for everything Mary and Jim!

Nashville Vacation
Mary and Jim were very attentive and answered all questions we had. Jim was there to greet us as we arrived to show us around and even brought us two amazing homemade pecan pies and ice cream. Due to the very hot weather the pool needed some attention, I messaged Mary and she had someone out the very next morning and we were back in enjoying the water upon our return that afternoon. We all had ample space with plenty of room to spread out. We were all very comfortable. Thank you for making our stay special!!

Beautiful w fully stocked panty
Clean & comfortable. Very well stocked pantry. Was greeted with chocolate chip pecan pies & ice cream. Had special request of a fan in each bedroom, owner did not disappoint. Plenty of clean towels and beach towels. Will definitely stay here again. Beds were extremely comfortable, didn’t want to leave to come home.

We had an amazing experience in Nashville and the surrounding area. The house was such a grest place to come back to at the end of the day! It was very clean and the pool was so relaxing! The hospitality of the owners was great, the yummy homemade pies were so sweet as well!

Overall a very good property with friendly hosts. The pool and lake view were as advertised. The interior was clean and so well stocked. The outside furniture was past its prime, the grill very old and dirty. The outside table was missing. It was beautiful weather and we had planned on grilling and eating outside. The master bed sunk badly in the middle and the bed on the main level was very squeaky. The wifi worked great and there was a smart tv. Beware that the quiet street sits above a very busy, noisy street and a less desirable apartment area. While not too far from Nashville, the traffic to and from was very heavy. We took an Uber to the Grand Ole Opry. It was about $40 going and about $80 returning. We did have 4 in our party. We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs balcony in the evening looking at the lake and the planes departing and landing. I felt the price was reasonable and that the hosts really cared about their guests. I would have liked to give it a 5 (or 4.5 if available), but with the above mentioned "room for improvements", felt that I could not give it a perfect score. But if you enjoy a pool and being outside of Nashville, I would recommend it.

Nice place. Centrally located.
Lovely home and pool. Don't think pool was heated although it was warm enough out that it felt good. Perfect spot for our needs. Close to airport. 15-20 mins to downtown. Kitchen well stocked. Cooked meals there. Very close to shopping. Only complaint, if I could call it that, was that I didn't know what to do w/ bedding, garbage etc. No instructions were left. I just felt bad if I didn't do what they wanted.

Exactly what we needed!!
This place is exactly as it’s described! Jim & Mary are very welcoming & accommodating -we felt “at home”. $20 (give or take on time of day) Uber ride to the heart of Nashville & Broadway-and well worth every penny!! The warm pecan pie Jim baked us was out of this world-Yummy!! Would definitely stay here again!

Overall this was a terrific first experience using VRBO. Jim was very nice and provided some food for us upon our arrival. The house was very clean and overall ready for us to use. The neighborhood was nice and very quiet. The one negative was that they were having an issue with the pool so it was not available for us to use, not really the end of the world as the weather was not good for swimming, the kids were however disappointed they did not have the opportunity to swim. I would recommend this house as a nice spot to relax and enjoy Nashville.

I stayed at the residence with a co-worker the week of Feb 6-10. The house was very clean and located on a cul de sac. The host was very friendly and met us upon our arrival. The host had purchased bread, cereal, fruit, milk and beer for our arrival. The host actually lives next door, but dont let that discourage you, we only seen him on the initial arrival. Great stay and very comfortable beds.

Wedding Stay
We came for my daughter’s wedding, our first time in Nashville. Jim and Mary were wonderful!!! My family now knows the meaning of Southern hospitality! There were fresh snacks waiting for us when we got there and Jim came right over to greet us and welcome us to Nashville! Jim even baked us two homemade Pecan Chocolate Chip pies for the wedding party! We were made to feel at home. The house was exactly as pictured! Beautiful, clean, well taken care of and comfortable. It really felt like we were at home. My family will be back to see not only Nashville but to see Jim and Mary!

Beautiful home!
Run, don’t walk, to book this special property. Wonderful property owners and stunning home. Great for a family rental or for several couples. Far enough outside of Nashville to enjoy the quiet for a bit, but close enough to get to the action quickly. The views from the upstairs bedrooms are amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this home and it’s people!

Wonderful property and great owner host living next door
Owner host Bill and his wife were very helpful and friendly. The house is well stocked with everything you need. Upstairs view of the lake and sunrise are amazing. Neighborhood is old but safe. The pool is small but refreshing and heated.

Amazing Stay
The house was perfect - it was very comfortable and exactly as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet, great patio and heated pool. Above and beyond
We cannot say enough about the property. Jim greeted us within 15 minutes of our arrival and we had many nice conversations throughout the stay. When my son was disappointed the pool was off (due to the cool weather) Jim jumped into action to have it on and warm ASAP! He also showed up with fresh snacks shortly after we checked in, and of course the famous pie. The property is even nicer than the photos show. A 20 minute drive or Uber ride will get you into the city. Would recommend!!

Very nice accommodations!
This house was as described. The kitchen could not have had anything more for cooking use down to spices etc. The refrigerator was stocked as well as the freezer. There were plenty of extra paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags , which we are not used to having. We were only about a 20 minute Uber from all the nightlife but far enough away to enjoy the quiet at night. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Mary, but did meet Jim several times and he was an amazing man with a wonderful personality. He even brought over 2 fresh out the oven pecan pies. We will definitely consider staying here again. There was nothing missing from this house!

We loved this house. It was perfect, clean, well stocked, exactly as described, and the host is very gracious. Love this place, would definitely come back. Comfortable beds is a huge thing for us because we need good rest every night. Having a kitchen, dining room and living room was also super nice. Very spacious for 4 people

I challenge anyone to find more cordial hosts than Jim and Mary. They went over the top to make sure we were comfortable and well attended to. We can comfortably recommend this stay to anyone. The house was lovely with an excellent view of a river. All appliances were in perfect working order. The kitchen was well stocked with food which saved us a trip to the grocery store. Jim even brought us some homemade pie which was delicious. Overall excellent experience.

Your ‘Home Away From Home’!
