Room with a View
What a great property. Our chapel-style home had every amenity needed as well as the charm of a coastal cottage. The windows of the rooms provided such light; with the green leaves of the trees against the blue sky as a bonus! It’s amazing to feel so at home so quickly.

Perfect place to relax, reset and rejuvenate
A most comfortable, tranquil and hospitable extended weekend getaway. We, including our two dogs, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A perfect place to relax and unwind and catch up with family. We enjoyed taking a daily walk to the main road, checking out the local restaurants and small town charm Franklin has to offer. Leaving truly is the hardest part. Quied Get-away
The property location was beautiful and very quiet. We had no trouble relaxing and enjoying our stay. The home was very unique and had everything needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed visiting with the donkeys and the rabbit. The location was very convenient for visiting Franklin, Nashville, and surrounding communities. We truly enjoyed our stay and would come again if traveling in the area.

Nice Little Getaway
I was looking for a quiet place for an overnight, personal retreat, and this hit the spot! It's off the beaten path, which was perfect for what I was looking for. Nice also to have a spacious property to explore.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The house was not clean and the photos are not accurate. There was poop residue in the toilet and the bathroom shower head fell on my husbands head, but that wasn’t why we left. My family was there for less than 24 hours because of all the bugs everywhere. According to the owner it’s very common to sleep with lady bugs and “Japanese beetles” when you stay on a farm. I’ve stayed in multiple rentals and farms before, but never had this issue. Make sure you document every single bug you see before you kill, vacuum, or brush them outside, or the owner will call you a liar. I vacuumed and cleaned the entire rental and as soon as I sat down the bugs were everywhere again. When we left I told the owner my husband was not feeling well; he and I had constantly been cleaning bugs and picking up the entire time we stayed at this location. The owner implied that I was lying about my husband having an emergency, even though I have a voicemail from his doctor and his emergency room discharge papers. After we left and the owner found out about the bugs she said her family would have come in and cleaned them out. I’m sorry, but if I payed for a rental property and I don’t want the owner to have to come into the property while I’m there. After looking back at the reviews it seems the family who stayed there the weekend before us also had an issue with bugs. Save your money, your time and rent somewhere else that is clean and has honest owners

it is a beautiful chapel converted to a cottage, I left one day early because of an invasion of insects and bugs. Note: There are no doors or curtains or shades on the windows. There is no door on the bathroom which is visible from the outside. There are 360 degree external cameras.

Gosh, Rita, I think you must have posted the review for the wrong property! We have no cameras on our property, the bathroom has a pocket door that fully closes (and is not at all visible from outside even when open), and there are shade on both bedroom windows - which we noticed you used while here! As for the “bug invasion”, we are very transparent that our cottage is a converted barn and that we are on a farm. It happened that you were here during a very cold spell when the critters seek warmth so you probably met a few more insects than normal, for which we apologize. We have regular exterminators and do what we can, but we live in a natural place and don’t pretend not to! I do hope the matter you told us you were tending to at home when you left early got resolved! Please allow us the chance to show you the bathroom door and remind you of the window shades as well as reassure you there are no cameras on your return visit.

We had an amazing time. This place is worth every penny. The listing says that it has a sleeper couch for 1 and that you can take the cushions off to make it a larger sleeping space, however the cushions are completely attached. If you have 3 people staying the third will have to just sleep on a regular couch that doesn’t pull out or have extra space or anything. There is also a blowup mattress option too. The host is super helpful - we were here during a snow storm and she was so kind in checking to make sure we had what we needed and supplied extra blankets for us! Overall, it was so welcoming and we enjoyed staying at this little chapel out in the rolling hills of Franklin, TN!

The property was exactly as stated. Our friend is wheelchair bound and had easy access for our visit. We found the cottage to be so sweet. All of us decided we should build one on our own properties at home!! Everything was very thoughtfully appointed. We hope to be able to stay again on our way home in the spring.

This was our Hallmark Christmas getaway and the little cottage did not disappoint. Very well stocked with all the things you might need and a few extra surprises. Comfy bed and couch. The property is beautiful, very safe and quiet. And the donkeys and bunny are precious!

This place was adorable and exactly as pictured. The surrounding area was so enjoyable and very impressive upon entering the lane to the cottage. Beautiful homes and countryside. If we ever visit Franklin/Nashville area again, we will certainly book this place. Judy, the hostess, had everything provided. Convenient to all the areas we wanted to visit in Franklin and Nashville. Just be prepared for lots of traffic.

Adorable chapel in the country. Great attention to every need and detail. We arrived to fresh eggs from the chickens and fresh cookies awaiting us. Great place to relax and refresh along our journey. I loved it!

This was a beautiful property and the cottage was decorated tastefully! The welcome/information book was the best I have seen at a VRBO/Airbnb/Homeaway property and very useful. Communication was easy and quick with the hosts. The only suggestion I have would be to add a floor length mirror or have a second mirror outside of the bathroom. We had two events to get ready for and sharing a steamy, smaller sink mirror added some extra time.

My husband and I and our fur baby just spent 4 nights in this adorable chapel/cottage. The property is exactly as described and the host even welcomes you with a nice card and cookies! If you are looking for a getaway in the country that welcomes you and your fur baby then this is the one.

This property was perfect for our 25th anniversary. It was quiet, clean, & beautiful. Our hosts went above & beyond making our time special. Hidden Gem
Staying in this cute little cottage with 300 yr-old doors with a peaceful setting was simply adorable. The charm of the doors seemed to transport you back in time, and I couldn't help but be in awe of their age and beauty. The tranquility of this piece of land truly made it a hidden oasis where we could unwind and relax. It was the perfect location to Franklin and only a few minutes to Down Town Nashville. Overall, the experience was delightful, and will definitely look forward to returning for another stay.

Such a cute place in an awesome country setting. Lots of places to walk around and explore if you love a country setting. They are very dog friendly as well. They had everything you needed on site and more! Even had fresh eggs, condiments and many other things. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Anniversary getaway!
We had an amazing time. Such a beautiful property! We visited the animals on the property and also saw deer as we were leaving one morning. Perfect place for an anniversary getaway. We have made a trip to this area every year for the last 6 years and have stayed somewhere different each year. I think we found the place we want to visit again.

A little slice of heaven!
This was our first time in a Vrbo and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful, quiet and serene with rolling hills and horse farms but still close to restaurants and activities. Would definitely go back!

25th Anniversary Get-a-way
We actually live local, but SO needed to get away from work and Decembers added activities. This really fit the bill. VERY peaceful and pastoral. Comfortable, lovely and unique. As a Realtor, I'll be passing this property on to clients on their often short visits. And don't miss a little hang time with the chickens or the miniature donkeys, Gunsmoke and Chocolate Chip.

Cozy Cottage in Secluded Woodland Setting
Wonderful two-room cottage in rolling hills outside Franklin, TN. Once a pole barn turned into an art studio then converted into a cottage named "Inglesita" as it looks like a little chapel. Miniature donkeys, fresh eggs from the hen house, and chocolate chip cookies on arrival. Was a perfect surprise birthday weeken getaway. We will definitely return!

A magical place for a peaceful weekend enjoying Mother Nature's backdrop.
Beautiful property with 5 star comfort. Plenty of yummy coffee choices, but bring your own cream and sugar, should you need that to enjoy your Java (tiny, local,.country store doesnt carry cream). Yummy homemade cookies, gave our stay an extra homestyle touch.

Pictures do not tell the whole story or give you the experience of feeling at home. This cottage is the perfect locale for relaxing and the host is so responsive and available. From the drive up to the property, you will feel that home awaits past the welcoming chapel-like doors. Loved the layout, open floor plan, beautiful retro kitchen, exquisite spa-like bath and comfortable bed with reading nook. If you look to stay in the country but within reach of modern conveniences, Judy has taken care of every detail and even managed to answer your hearts desire for a second home away from home. Also, the donkeys, chickens and bunny will make you want your own. Highly recommend and high praises for the host.

What a lovely location!
We really enjoyed our one night stay. The location is lovely and the cottage is roomy - it was very quiet (and it was fun seeing the chickens and bunny). The hosts thought of everything we might need, the bed was very comfortable, great sheets and towels (the water pressure in the shower was great!), and the kitchen had plenty of eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast the next morning. We can't think of any suggestions to make it better - it was a really perfect stay!

Your drive ends in front of an adorable cottage that looks like a small church. The 300 year old doors open to a beautiful, light and airy home with colors of the sea. A fresh, clean smell greets you as light beams through the large windows. The grounds are maintained perfectly and the animals on the property are happy and healthy. This cottage is dog friendly which was perfect for us. The nights are quiet and we had the best sleep. This cottage is centrally located to downtown Franklin, Nashville, shops, restaurants and the owners are wonderful. Booking this cottage is a must!

A hidden gem
My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at quaint and beautiful “Iglesita” for one night. Upon entering, you will find soothing music, a welcome note, and (my favorite) cookies! This cottage is EXTREMELY clean and well stocked with simple items. This place is what we needed, as we have been extremely busy with work life balance. Thank you Judy for this incredible opportunity. For those who have yet to visit…it is a must! Go Navy BEAT Army :)
