great experience for grand daughters 21st bday gathering
Every thing was as presented. many interesting details and decora. Great country feeling We used the firepit and amble supply of fire wood on hand. Barbecued 1 evening using the supplied grill. Draw backs; bq grill barely cooked. dirty burners? Master bathroom needs much better lighting at the sink. Only 1 tv of 3 was used. Never could get Wi fi to work. Howver bedroom tv worked. But a great atmosphere overall.

The most perfect well appointed home within easy walking distance everywhere in Leipers Fork. The host was amazing to work with and very responsive to us. This is hands down our favorite VRBO ever. We hope to get back one day soon.

A Perfect Stay

Fun in Leipers Fork
Me, my two sisters and my friend enjoyed our stay in Leipers Fork so much. The Brigadoon Cottage was just perfect! It was so homey and a relaxing place to stay. And it was so close to all of the shops and restaurants.

Quiet little town
Not impressed with not all tvs working and expecting us to start washing machine! Never had to do that before! Stripping sheets and emptying garbage I feel is sufficient, I think paying to have a cleaning crew is something they should take care of, what if wash machine wasn’t working properly or dishwasher wasn’t. Not a safe thought I feel, but we do love Leipers Fork. Thank you for allowing us to stay in the home.

Charming!
The house was very comfortable, and had amazing antiques, artwork, and books! (My husband is a history buff, and I’m an artist , so we were happy campers). The only thing we were were a little disappointed in was that many lamps didn’t have working bulbs, and those that did were quite dim. Also the can opened that we found didn’t work at all. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable.

Loved the home and location! Such a quirky little place with so many neat antiques to check out. Communication with manager was non-existent. Messaged regarding a view things including cleaners running late, a few things not cleaned, and several broken items needing attention. We got an odd, automated “we hope you enjoyed your stay” message from them shortly after we checked in. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful old home, I would just recommend the manager to communicate better!

The property was nice. I feel like since we paid a cleaning fee, we shouldn't have been expected to do laundry, etc. The location was nice. I should have been more thorough. Since we were all older than 72, the stairs were a detriment.

Lovely stay at the Brigadoon
We absolutely loved our stay at the Brigadoon. It exceeded all expectations and we really appreciated the care the owners took in designing and furnishing the property...a truly unique, inviting and comfortable home. Leiper's Fork is an amazing place and a great base to explore greater Franklin and Nashville. Don't miss a show at the Fox & Locke in LF! We highly recommend the Brigadoon and can't wait to return next year.

The house was so quaint and in a great location to visit Leaper’s Fork as well as Franklin. It was a very quiet neighborhood and is a just overall a super sweet place. I would totally stay there again in the future.

Historical home with modern amenities
This place is super cute! The owners have done a great job keeping the historical legacy while integrating modern amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and the beds were very comfortable. The home was very clean, and included things like board games and books. It is easily within walking distance to everything in Lieper's Fork, but it is quiet in the house. There is some traffic noise when sitting outside. The upstairs bedroom sleeps 3 comfortably and has a window unit AC to keep cool. Towels and bedding are clean and comfortable. In spite of being such an old building, we didn't see any bugs. Downstairs there is room for 3 comfortably, plus a fold out bed. They do keep items for cooking, but there are no containers for leftover food, and no plastic ware. Bring your dog! Make sure you bring dog bowls and plastic bags to pick up the waste. There were 2 challenges for us: In addition to washing dishes and taking out trash, be prepared to strip the beds and start washing the sheets before you leave. If you have to leave early in the morning, that is a little tricky, so just plan on extra time. Also, I could not get ahold of the owners at all. They sent me several messages through VRBO, but never replied to any of mine. That was a problem for me because the upstairs bathtub was leaking and there was no way to get ahold of them. So overall, a great stay, a cute house, and good proximity to Nashville and surrounding areas!

Natchez Trace Road Trip
Leipers Fork was the first stop on our two week road trip. The cottage was great. It was roomy, absolutely clean, and furnishings/decor were charming. The house has front and back porch was seating and a fire pit with seating in the front yard. Location was excellent. Walking distance from shops and Locke & Fox which was great fun. Highly recommend.

Brigadoon is Ideal for Quiet Getaway!
Traveled with my family to the Brigadoon in late March. We had a wonderful time in the idyllic little town of Leipers Fork! This is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway in a well-appointed home for a small group. It's in walking distance of a couple of shops and restaurants in the town and a short drive to Franklin! The people in the town are very welcoming and friendly. We will absolutely be back!

Girls weekend
We had a great weekend getaway at The Brigadoon. There was an issue with the house not being ready when we arrived but the owner was quick in his response and was able to rectify the situation in no time. The owners more than made up for the problem with their generosity and we couldn’t have been more pleased and thankful. Highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Leipers Fork!

Perfect quiet get-a-way
My husband and I visited for our anniversary weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with this property. We loved that it was tucked away in this quiet little area of Leipers Fork. Right on the Main Street and easy to walk to everything and a quick drive into Franklin or Nashville. Very clean and cozy! We would definitely stay here again.

Leiper's Fork Fun
We had to be in Franklin for a wedding, and this was a perfect place to stay! We had to go to downtown Nashville on Thursday night, but couldn't wait to get back to the country. The home is so comfortable and enjoyable. Hard wood floors with wool rugs. Older adults need to be careful not to trip.. And stairs to upstairs may be a little hard for "older" ones. Gorgeous kitchen with anything you need. A stones throw from fun shopping, live music, and diner type food. Delicious! Can't wait to go back.

There are 6 of us college friends that try to go somewhere for a few days every year. Covid put a stop to that for a couple of years, but 3 of us spent a few days in Leipers Fork, Tennessee this year. We stayed in a quaint cottage called The Brigadoon. The accommodations were wonderful! Updated kitchen and bathrooms and the beds were extremely comfortable! We would definitely stay here again. Leipers Fork is close to Franklin, Tennessee, Arrington Vineyard, Belle Meade winery and Cheekwood Gardens. We did it all!

We are locals and live in Nashville and decided to do a quick weekend getaway for 5 women. It was the most adorable house and we had a great stay. It was decorated so uniquely, had everything we needed (and more), and is in a fantastic location. Less than a 5 minute walk to the main area of Leipers Fork. We will definitely be back!

Location is great! Walking distance to town with cute shops and art galleries. This house is bigger than it appears. Great deck out back and porch in front. We did have some odd things happen such as doors slamming by themselves at night with no apparent reason. Parlor has a strange odd feel to it. Back door is very hard to close and lock and will not lock from outside with key pad. Overall clean but could use a good dusting. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay.

What a fun place to stay
The cottage is deceptively large and could easily welcome a family or several couples. Within easy walking to the galleries and restaurants, you almost feel a part of the scene (which on weekends apparently sees an influx of locals and those passing through). Bed in the master was comfortable, wonderful bedding and you'll have a good nights sleep. The backyard is large enough for young kids to play and run burn off some energy. We ate at two of the three restaurants during our stay (Big Bad Breakfast and Fox and Locke) and of the two, we enjoyed Fox and Locke slightly better. There's one up-scale restaurant that you will need reservations for. Highly recommend for a weekend (or mid-week) get-away. Host was prompt in communicating and we encountered no problems while we were there (property, while 'old' is well maintained and great character vibes).
