Renovated small home in Franklin. Convenient location for what we needed as we were in town to attend a family member's wedding. Was clean enough and all necessities provided. Everything as pictured. Something I didn't notice that I wish I had was the lack of much vanity space in the 2 bathrooms. It made it difficult to get ready with limited counter space. Also, this could happen anywhere but the driveway has a large tree over it and birds were roosting in the tree and covered my car with poop. We learned our lesson and did not park under the tree on the 2nd night. Enjoyed walking to the nearby coffee shop, Hanks. But there is not a sidewalk, so you have to walk in the grass. The house is located on a main road so there was some road noise/ sirens and traffic that could be heard in the home and did keep my 10y old awake. Also, if you have kids pack a little night light. There were not any provided. My only issue was there is a pet fee that was not outlined in the listing. It did not state anywhere what the pet fee was. I mistakenly booked quickly without marking our dog on the reservation. When I realized my mistake I contacted the host to notify and he promptly sent me a bill for 176. Just wish this had been disclosed in the listing. And not really sure what the pet fee covered as they did not provide any dog bowls/dog bed or other amenities that are often provided when you have a pet fee.
