The cabin was great. It was cleaner than any other cabin we have stayed at in Brown County. We loved how close to town and the state park this place was. The hot tub was our personal favorite place to hang out after the little one went to sleep!! We will be back!!
Family of four on a 3 night vacation. Place was awesome! Plenty of room, very clean and well stocked. Near the shops but still felt isolated. Will definitely return!
We absolutely LOVED this cabin! Beautiful, very clean and equipped with EVERYTHING that you would need! Loved the hot tub! This was a very large cabin with plenty of room for a larger group. Walking distance to town and a very short drive to anywhere around Nashville. We will definitely be coming back to stay with our family the next time! My husband forgot to pack his toothbrush…..they had extras wrapped in the medicine cabinet, along with other toiletries. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays and very well maintained. I was also so pleasantly surprised at how immaculate the place was upon arrival. The hot tub was working and a welcome comfort after two long hikes. Also such a close walk to downtown but away from the noise. Definitely recommend!
Cabin was clean, well stocked kitchen, extra blankets, extra pillows, and towels. Jacuzzi was enjoyable and had beautiful scenery. Can only imagine the view in the fall. Our plans were to stay in the cabin for the 3 days we were there. One down side is the cabin sits off a main road. Lots of noise and some emergency vehicles. Can walk to downtown Nashville.
We were amazed - this is a great property! Everything looked so new. Lots of space to spread out and not far from town center (the parking pass is AWESOME!). Really enjoyed and looking to make this an annual trip. PS - the circular stairs are pretty cool and the handrails are great! A little challenging for older folks, but spectacular everything!
We arrived at 4 pm. Checking was fine. At 5 am the next morning there was a thunderstorm. Our electricity went out. We were there for a family funeral on Saturday. We had to shower in the dark and I (age 80) fell in the shower because the shower bar was not attached and released and let me fall. Luckily I am only bruised. We left and went Bean Blossom to find something to eat and attend funeral upon returning to cabin still no electricity so we went to Bloomington for the night. Upon requesting a partial refund I was told the management would discuss and call me back.. they called and offered a one night free stay to be used this year. We are from Florida and have no plans to return to get a free night. Disappointing to say the least. Also should have provided flashlights at least.
Perfectly clean and cozy house. Christmas decorations and tree were such a nice touch. Loved all the extra details added I.e. extra toiletries, hot cocoa, to-go coffee cups, etc. Had a great time with the family!
The cabin was clean, well stocked and convenient to all areas. The cabin would be great for two couples, with each having privacy. Only maintenance issue , for seniors would be the outside second last step being uneven.
This is our 2nd year to stay at this cabin and it is a great facility. Had a slight electrical/lighting issue but contacted owner and resolved quickly. Hot tub was AMAZING!! One suggestion, maybe provide a small rubber mat in 1st floor shower as it was a bit slippery. A great place and we plan to come again in 2026. Great host too!
The cabin is spotlessly clean and very well stocked which was a great surprise. It was perfect for two couples as we were on the lower level and our friends were on the main level. The circular stairs are a bit tricky so if someone has difficulty with stairs they should stay on the main level. We would definitely stay here again!
though the scenery outback was nice. I was hoping for something a little more remote, like a cabin in the woods. houses very close on both sides of this property. In contrast, the cabin itself was very nice with many extra accommodations we did not expect, such as coffee k-cups and body soap for the showers. we really liked the cabin just not the location.
This place was immaculately clean, the owner had thought of everything the guests would need. The house has a remote in the woods feel but is so close to all attractions (Hard truth distillary, brown county state park and historic down town Nashville with plenty of restaurants and the play house). One can truly walk to down town Nashville from this house; and the jacuzzi was a thoughtful touch.
My husband and I meet up with my best friend & her husband once a year. Staying at this cabin was perfect for us. They had the upstairs and we had the downstairs. We both had our privacy and separate bathrooms. Totally enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and cleanliness of the cabin. We ate, walked around town and most of all enjoyed playing card and board games all night long. I chose this cabin because it gave us what we needed.
