"Incredibly cute hotel. Short walk to restaurants and the mountains. The best breakfast ever from cheeses to oatmeal and delightful fruit. Wonderful coffee and teas served all day. We loved it here. Our room had the best mountain view. "
"Can’t recommend this place enough!! The reception staff were wonderful, and it’s right next to train station and bus stop for the castles. Also a short walk to Old Town, which is worth a day of its own. Hope to stay again some day. "

"This hotel is in a perfect location for what I needed. It is a beautiful well maintained property. The room is spotless and comfortable. My view of one of the castles is amazing. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. Bar service and food were very good. "
"Very friendly staff with easy check in/out. Room is large with large bathroom. Comfy pillows and comforter. Had door to balcony with table/chairs. Bistro was glass enclosed with castle view. Horse carriage pickup is right outside the hotel. Town is very crowded during the day with bus tours but cleared out by 5. Public bathroom is 1 euro and disgusting. Both men and woman used either one, the floor are wet (didn’t rain!) but the worst is the smell that hits you after you pay the euro to enter. If you can wait til the hotel then do!!

"Room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains from our balcony. Some parts are a bit dated but they have made upgrades where needed, including the excellent pool and spa facilities. Friendly service from all the staff and an excellent breakfast spread - really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice machine! Location is convenient for driving but is a 15-20 minute walk to central Garmisch. There's a bus stop right outside but it's only hourly (at least in September) so check the schedule."
"We came to tour the castles and this was the perfect spot lace to stay. Great hotel restaurant. Large grocery store right next door. Short walk to train. Very spacious and clean room. "
"Just steps from the train station! Desk clerk was nervous about her English; we pointed out that our German is zero. Looking over her shoulder, I noticed a glass doored refrigerator, with beer. We'd just got off a long train trip (four trains, and a couple alternate itineraries due to impossible connection times). She sold us a large bottle of dunkel and opened it for us at the desk. Our moods immediately improved!
Breakfast was good and extensive. Dining room is very nice. Actually, everything about this place was nice. I booked at the last minute, found this hotel and paid more than I had budgeted. I'd recommend it though. "
