"This is a small cabin. The toilet and shower are in the main building. There are 2 bunk beds. Refridgerator, coffee maker, water cooker and a microwave oven.
It is not a 5 star hotel. It's a small cabin. But it's cozy and not expensive. And the staff is welcoming.
The view is really good - trees and a lake."
"The hotel had very narrow beds and the room was very hot. The breakfast was “OK”. The restaurant had good food but with a waiter who didn’t know anything about the different dishes, wine alternatives or beers. He had to ask everything to the chef! After the main course, we ordered a dessert with some berries and when we saw it was “hjortron” (cloudberry) I said. “Oh, hjortron” as it was a positive surprise for me. Then ha said: “I don’t know but I can ask the chef”. Then I explained that we...
"Our visit blessed us with amazing weather as a beautiful back drop to this gorgeous place. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so tasty and had a so many choices. The only thing I would not give 5 stars was the service at supper. The food was delish but we were shocked as the the lack of attention and help guiding us through the menu or suggestion local options. Perhaps it was the Swedish to be standoffish. "
"Nice old hotel. Clean, friendly and good location middle of town. Has a hotel bar as well as a small resteraunt in the basement which looks really cute."
"The room was so cute. The breakfast was super great and the views were epic. There is a pizza place walking distance to the hotel and there is a super market across the street. "
"Beautiful countryside scenery on the lake. Relaxing atmosphere. +30C temperature meant that room was hot (no aircon). Possibility to swim at the lake nearby. Recommended."
"The hotel was easy to find, and had plenty of parking spots.
The check-in was smooth and quick, the personnel was kind and helpful.
The room was clean, comfy and had enough outlets for nowadays needs.
All in all very good, especially for the reasonable price."
"Beds are comfortable. Easy walk from train station. Close to lots of restaurants. Fyi queen beds not available but was able to get better room with more beds"

"Väldigt trevlig personal! God mat i restaurangen, bra frukost! Hundvänligt till 100%! Vovven fick till och med egen skål med vatten i restaurangen! Supernöjda! "
"The main building of the Gyllene Uttern looks like a Scandinavian castle. Perched high above Lake Vättern, it has a grand view of the lake, whether from a large terrace, one of its several lounging spaces, a glassed-in dining room, or from rooms facing the lake. It also has a baronial dining room, in which the very good breakfast buffet is laid out. We dined there in the evening, as well, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed comfortable suites overlooking the lake. The one disadvantage is that the old, castle-like hotel does not have an elevator, which made carrying up luggage a challenge, especially as we three couples were of ages 60 to 82. There was no indication of staff to assist with the luggage, which is the reason I gave "Staff & Service" 4 stars instead of 5. It has two newer two-story auxiliary buildings, which do have elevators. We have stayed in these before. The rooms are very comfortable, but not as charming as staying in a pseudo castle. "
"Beautiful new and modern property, great staff and amazing views. The included breakfast was excellent! Only thing I would improve is having more slots for the Jacuzzi available only thing I would improve is having more slots for the Jacuzzi available, If you plan to use do so well ahead of time."
"Booked to go to an expo near by, the hotel was one of the few affordable options. Booking two triple rooms for 4 of us and then requested sheets and cleaning, which were extra costs paid locally.
The entry information needs to be requested in advance, but there was a member of staff at reception when we arrived. Friendly place, rooms basic- we had a TV in ours, toilet and then shared shower.
Bed weren’t thr most comfortable and sheets were very starchy, but cant complain for the price. Breakfast was also available.
Limited parking in the street, payable 9-6, either at the machine with a card, or via an app. No issues during the stay, limited facilities in Huskvarna, with one hotel or restaurants as the only options for an evening drink. would happily stay again if the price was good. "
