The hotel is ideally located for catching the early morning bus. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate and clean. The staff is very welcoming, and the adjacent restaurant is a good option, especially thanks to its decent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Check in was great and the property was located 5 minutes from the bus termial. Bonus was the restaurant on the ground floor, which came in super handy when I checked in at 22:00. Thanks team :)

Classic hostel stay, located over a pizza parlor

Hostal Alcazar was exactly what we needed to be, and then a little more. Pros: We had our own bathroom, breakfast was included, and we felt safe. Cons: It was located over a pizza parlor, so it was extra warm at night (this could also be a pro, depending on who you are), and it was located pretty far from downtown. Over all, this was a good experience, and I would recommend it to people looking for an affordable stay in Puerto Natales.

Etwas unprofessionelles Familienunternehmen, grosse Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich , hilfsbereit... Im Haus ist es allerdings sehr laut und hellhoerig ( Fernseher, Musik im Restaurant laufen die ganze Nacht!!!!!!! Nicht zwingend zu empfehlen - fuer den Preis gibt es sicher etwas ruhigeres.

I had trouble with my credit card, the staff were fantastic whilst i sorted it out. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the property is in walking distance to the main shopping area. The restaurant is also fantastic! Highly recommend!

A stop before and after Torres Del Paine

I picked the location as it was close to the bus station and it was my starting point for Torres Del Paine. They had English speaking staff and a restaurant with good food that was open late. Puerto Natales is small, so it was only a 10-20 minute walk to get to most places. A laundromat next door was very helpful when I returned to stay an extra night after finishing my trekking in the park. The hotel also stores an extra bag for me while i was gone for several days hiking. The rooms are basic, but fine. The showers could be updated, but they had hot water so I was happy.

All staff is very friendly and helpful. Will do almost anything to make your trip everything you want. Truly excellent restaurant on site. Great wine and food. One of best restaurants in town. Puerto Natales was very windy some days and pretty cold also a few days. But I like that. Go for the experience.

Good for one night

This is more like a bed & breakfast than a hostel as there are no cooking facilities or common sitting area. The bedroom and bathroom were fine, although a little small. Breakfast was limited.

The national park was stunning. 80km/h winds put us off trekking so we took a tour which was a great decision. Fantastic view points and good info. The hostel was ok however the atmosphere from the staff was not that friendly, the decor was tired (a little diy effort would make a hugh difference) and everything seemed to be rationed.

This hostal was really made by the people. They are extremely helpful and mindful about their guests. The hostal has a restaurant and laundromat next door. The only thing I'd say is that if you're looking to save money by buying your own food/alcohol/washing clothes in the bathroom that they do not allow any of that.

The reason for my review is to help others going to Puerto Natalas as a stop prior to getting into patagonia, chile. I stayed at this hotel a night prior to the W trail and when we finished the W trail. The location is perfect and staff were helpful. It is walking distance from the bus station (where bus fernandez and bus sur drop you off when traveling from punta arenas AND also where all shuttles leave and return from the park). The property has its own restaurant that makes it convenient. Short walk to the nearest grocery and camping/gear stores makes it an ideal location.

Se encuentra muy cerca de la estación de autobuses lo cual era crítico para nuestro viaje. Las habitaciones son de buen tamaño, el único detalle es que se escucha TODO lo que ocurre en habitaciones contiguas. El desayuno muy simple, podría complementarse con más cosas.
