"I can not fault the staff or hotel however when booking it clearly ask’s the age of the child were you select on a drop down box when we checked in staff and hotel were great but once we got to the room one bed so we ask about the other bed as to which they said they had been informed my son was under 12 he’s all most 14 so we had to upgrade to a room to fit a bed in for him and got charged the best part of £50 also after this the A/C did not work so it was a very comfortable evening with broken sleep due to the heat my wife took up the offer of a free breakfast but me and my son did not have time to indulge the A/C was fixed that day but then having to leave the hotel at 3.00am we did leave feeling a little let down by all means the hotel is fantastic and staff are a credit to the place very friendly fortunately are experience was not great "

"This is my 4th trip staying with Grano Apartments however the 1st at this location. Arrived early and was met by a young male and female on reception, both of whom could do with refreshing their customer service and professionalism skills, he seemed annoyed when we asked about storing luggage until check in time which has never been a problem in the past. Upon our return we asked to collect our stored case and my friend caught him rolling his eyes and making faces to his colleague behind my back. He then gave very little info on the hotel and i had to ask about time limits etc on pool facilities. Other than that we had a lovely stay, rooms and communal areas are clean, 1st towel change is free (he failed to mention this), everything is walking distance. The onsite spa was also lovely but expensive. Thankfully check in did not put me off and i would return. "

"Walking distance from the entire old city and market. Beautiful floor to ceiling windows from which to look out at the river or harbor. One thing would have been nice for my wife - if they had plugs / outlets in the bathroom. There are none, so if a woman wants to plug something in it's gonna be in the room, not the WC"

"Good size apartment in general which had a good range of amenities. There was a balcony with views of other apartments and lift access. After check in we had to exit the building with our luggage and room key and walk outside the building and enter it from a different area. The bed in the room was comfortable but too large for the room size as there was little space to walk past the end due to the positioning of a TV on the wall. There was dog hair or something similar on the floors which attached to our socks. There was a kitchen but no t towel. There was no bat mat. We used the pool once, this had to be booked and allowed a maximum of one hour per day. It was a nice area but we couldn’t do much swimming as there were children chasing each other around in it. Great location and transport options, within minutes walk of the old town, river, shops and restaurants. "
