"Our family of 5 (2 adults, 16y, 10y, 3y) stayed here for 3 nights. Bill and Pola were amazing, 10/10 recommend this beautiful homestay to any families wanting to experience the real Fiji.Communication during planning was excellent, Bill took care of everything including road transfers from our hotel on the coral coast then a trip in his open top boat to the island. He organised a package for us including snorkelling with sharks, picnic lunch at blue lagoon, limestone caves and manta rays.Pollas meals were delicious and plentiful, with enough variety to cater for everyone.The whole village was very welcoming and we very much enjoyed our stay."

"Our favourite stay in Fiji. Gorgeous bure on the beach surrounded by gardens to make it private. But the best part of this resort is the amazing coral gardens surrounding it. I've snorkelled all around the world and this was probably the best I've done. The resort has resident marine scientists doing conservation, so you can learn and even get involved while you are there. As a Marine biologist myself, I was impressed with what they are doing. Snorkelling with the mantas was incredible, but what made it even better is the ethical, sustainability procedures they have in place to ensure the mantas are not impacted. Well organised and such a friendly Fijian atmosphere. Big hi to Kuini! "

"A beautiful property and such a wonderful stay. Api, Jerry, Ratu and the whole reception and dining team were so warm and kind. They made a real effort to learn and remember everyone’s names, greeting you personally at meals and whenever you passed by. We’d highly recommend the free nature walk – it’s a great way to learn about the property and the plants growing there. The complimentary 10-minute spa foot ritual was another highlight, with gorgeous views over the grounds and the ocean. We celebrated a birthday during our stay and were treated to two birthday serenades, a personalised dessert, and fantastic room decorations – including a huge “birthday cake” made entirely out of towels. And the homemade cookies they leave in your room each day? Don’t be shy about asking for more! Whilst the average age of guests was generally 50+, we enjoyed the property just as much as a couple in our late twenties. Even at our young age, the clear absence of children made the whole place feel calmer, more relaxed, and wonderfully peaceful."

"Our stay was amazing from start to finish. We had lovely accommodation with great amenities and especially enjoyed the double-headed outdoor shower – such a treat. The beachfront was absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water just like you’d imagine on a paradise-like island in Fiji. We celebrated a birthday while we were there, and the little extras – the decorated room and the restaurant serenade – made it feel really special. And the food… delicious every single time. We’d go back in a heartbeat."

"Ocean View is a must-stay homestay for anyone looking to experience true Fiji time. As a solo traveler, the room was perfect — clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Vil and Paola took amazing care of me and always made sure I was comfortable. While the food was a bit pricey, the portions were massive as long as you are an adventurous eater — depite this I never finished a full plate! I was the only traveler on the island during my stay, which pushed me out of my comfort zone and led to some of the most meaningful experiences of my trip. I met many locals, learned about village life, and truly felt welcomed. I highly recommend attending the Sunday church service and joining the village-wide community lunch — it’s a beautiful way to connect and experience a full day of rest in true Fiji style. There’s an incredible reef just outside the school and a beautiful sandbar just a short walk and swim from the homestay. I also went handline fishing and snorkeling with sharks — both included in a single 50 FJD trip that was well worth it. I also recommend buying souvenirs from them — the prices were much better than anything I saw in Nadi, and you know the money supports the village directly, not a scam. If you’re after adventure, culture, and connection, Ocean View should be at the top of your list. 6/5 stars!"
