"I stayed here this weekend with my husband. We were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary and the hotel and restaurants were extremely nice!! The room was beautiful and very clean! I will come to stay again!!"

"We had an amazing time. Room was fabulous. Clean, comfy and big. Staff check in was great. Coffee shop manager was very rude. Stood there at 6:30 for over 25 minutes for her to finally acknowledge 3 people standing there to rudely state that they didn't open til 7 on weekends. Then proceeded to tell us they wouldn't be open until 7:05 and we could go to Starbucks. You don't do that in a customer service position. She could have spoken to us at the time we arrived to let us know about the opening time. Then the restaurant on site was phenomenal. Food and service was great. However, the server charged us for someone else's order. (Which we didn't notice until after the fact). Other than that, the rest of it was great. We will be using the hotel again, and maybe the restaurant (checking the ticket of course) but I refuse to give the coffee shop a dime of my money, period!!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We loved the fact that it was connected/,combined with an art gallery. Upon arrival, we were shocked to see that there were no carts for our luggage and when we asked, the young man told us he didn’t know where they were and said we could go look for one… We said you can go look, we haven’t even checked in! He “looked” and came back to say that he couldn’t find one. We later found out that he was just the valet guy. So we proceeded to ask the lady at the counter and she also said she didn’t know. She did page a few folk though and we finally got a cart. At this point, my husband had already made a few trips up to the room carrying our things instead. The room was nice. The blinds were broken and so was the railing in the bathroom… The elevators were a bit squeaky. Outside of those things, it was still a pretty hotel, the staff were kind and we loved the glass bunnies lol. I feel like we’d give it another try."

"My mistake for booking a room in the front of hotel. The walls and windows do a poor job of blocking out the sound. Parking is not the best. Minor other issues but it was overpriced for the the product offered"

"Our stay while visiting our daughter was perfect. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and centrally located to where we needed to be. I love that there was a washer and dryer so when we got home it was easy to just unpack. Hosts were informative and responded quickly. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you so much."
Spacious 5-bedroom house with AC in beautiful Portsmouth

"The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to vacation here, but the house was not clean, the floors were filthy, leaving our socks and feet black if we went without shoes.We did clean all the floors, several times while there, because it took several cleanings before our socks and feet did not turn black, and before we checked out. The trash cans, one large and one small were overflowing when we arrived.The owners did send people out to pick up trash, although it took a couple of days. I would suggest providing more trash receptacles, especially, since there is a raccoon that frequents the house. There are a few things that need to be fixed if this host is to successfully house 18 people. There is not enough hot water, there is not enough water pressure either. The upstairs shower is very tiny, I would suggest a removable shower head as it is extremely difficult to rinse off in that small of a space. The refrigerator is tiny, RV size and not nearly enough room for food and drinks for several people. We used two large coolers in addition to the refrigerator. The dishwasher is not secured and does not get the dishes clean, we opted to hand wash the dishes The kitchen breaker blows if you use the toaster and one other outlet. The amount of beds do not accommodate 18 people either, thankfully we brought a queen size and full size mattress with us. The mattresses were not the most comfortable either, per all the guests."
