"We stay at this hotel at least twice a year. The food is amazing, and the staff are really helpful and friendly. We've been coming here for the past 10 years, and Tirio is always fantastic. Isabel at the pool bar was particularly helpful. The only thing I can fault is the lunchtime opening hours and the queue to get food. Perhaps you could consider extending the lunchtime to, say, 13:30-15:30 to help prevent the current rush hour."

"Another great little break at Costa Ballena. Despite the long queues at check in, the staff worked through the lines promptly. Food at the buffet was ok, has been better in the past, same with the pool restaurant. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids during the day and in the evening which was appreciated. Grounds and pool were clean at all times. Don't understand why small inflatables are not allowed in the main pool. I understand big ones, but small rubber rings should be...

"The entire apartment was stunning, huge, very well equipped, modern, and extremely clean. The view from the massive balcony was outstanding. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were perfect... the only complaint was that hotels.com gave me wrong information on check-in, i had to call on land-line for that info. But overall everything else was PERFECT."

"What a lovely, friendly place to stay. Clean, comfy, with a homely feel. Was a nice breakfast for 5€,with freshly baked break, cheese, meats, pate, jams, etc. Cornflakes, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Eaten outside next to a, small pool in a pleasant garden. Excellent price. Would come again. In fact we stayed an extra night. Basic but good, well equipt room. "

"Great location. Internal room I stayed in had no window, just one of those european light-wells from the roof.. s it was dark. On the upside it was very quiet. The hotel itself is sort of cute. Rooms are clean and basic. Staff was friendly and helpful. They rent bikes out for 10 euro day and you can cycle around town easily and along the coastal boardwalk. "

It is in a very convenient, central and walkable part of the city, easy access to great restaurants and bars. This was my second weeklong stay there. I will be back."
