La Closerie, adorable house, park of the Ormeaux castle, 6 km from Amboise.

This house is located on the property of Chateau des Ormeaux. It was completely restored in 2017 and offers an ideal place of relaxation and tranquility in a bucolic environment. Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, it is a short distance from the Loire castles.
The house is on the ground floor with the garden, it hosts the comfortable living room with its sofa and large armchairs as well as a dining area.
In the extension is the fitted kitchen with direct access to the garden.
The bedroom where harmony and softness reigns, has quality bedding with a 160 cm bed, the bathroom with its walk-in shower is adjoining and comfortable with its heated towel radiator. Blackout curtains guarantee darkness.
The garden is walled, sun loungers, a barbecue and an outdoor table complete the set.
The 2 holiday homes owned by the chateau des Ormeaux, the Vernelle and the Closerie, have a private entrance with automatic gate. Tranquility and privacy guaranteed, the castle being at a distance.

Beautiful comfortable cottage

It was a beautiful comfortable cottage/villa in a quiet area with Amboise 10 minutes away. It’s ideal if you have dogs. We would stay here again if we come to Amboise again. We can’t rate it highly enough

Perfect French experience

Pretty little cottage close to a chateau. Felt very authentic. Bicycles supplied enabled us to enjoy the surrounding without always the need for a car. Amboise was the loveliest town with some great places to eat and a winery within minutes. Our first visit to the area and we were so glad we chose this place.

Private and peaceful cottage

Lovely private and peaceful cottage in the grounds of a chateau, owner Pascale was warm and welcoming, well equipped cottage, spotlessly clean. Pascale was always available for queries. Great location to cycle and explore surrounding area, just a few miles from Amboise, hope to return for a longer stay next time.

Lovely little house

We had a wonderful stay in this pretty house. It is excellent for 2, nice furniture, good bed, en suite bathroom etc, very cosy. Garden was great, our dog loved it a lot too. Location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful, yet just 5 kms from Amboise and its restaurants and sights ans also in the centre of the Loire region. Pascale was a lovely and kind host, who speaks excellent English. We hope to return some day!

Eu e minha esposa tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa neste local! Excelente localização para dias de descanso e turismo pelo Loire Valley! La Closerie é espaçoso, confortável, silencioso e funcional (completo). Pessoalmente o local é mais agradável do que aparenta nas fotos. Os ambientes e pertences são muito limpos. A proprietária é acessível, simpática e nos recebeu muito bem, com excelentes dicas da região. Amamos tudo!

Luxe en stilte in prachtige vakantiewoning!

Heerlijk rustige locatie, stilte alom. De gastvrouw is ontzettend vriendelijk, verwende ons met verse eitjes en tomaten uit de moestuin. Ze is zeer bereikbaar maar met veel respect voor je privacy. Het huisje is prachtig en brandschoon, heel verzorgd. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving en op korte afstand van Amboise met mooie kastelen, het laatste verblijf van Leonardo daVinci en Chateau de Gaillard.

Visite pluvieuse des Châteaux fin septembre

Malgré une météo exécrable, nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 9 jours, au calme, dans la petite maison du château (pour 2 adultes). La maison est idéalement située pour, en voiture, aller visiter tout château de la région (max: 1h de route pour Chambord à l'Est). Il ne manque absolument rien à cette maison très joliment décorée. Entre 2 averses, nous avons même pu profiter des chaises longues et de la table dans le petit jardin ( mais pas du BBQ :) ). L'accueil et la communication avec la châtelaine a été parfait. R&JF

Geheimtipp im Loiretal

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Gästehaus mit guter Ausstattung in kleinem Châteaugarten. Das Haus liegt in schöner idyllischer Lage.Von dort aus kann man entspannt viele Châteaus gut erreichen und am Abend die Sonne im kleinen eigenen Garten genießen. Vermieterin hat uns herzlich mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk empfangen. Wir würden das La Closerie jederzeit wieder buchen.

Entzückendes Häuschen "La Closerie" mitten im Loiretal

Die Dame des Hauses "Pascale" hat uns sehr freundlich und als erfahrene Gastgeberin empfangen. Neben den persönlichen Informationen haben wir auch eine umfangreiche Mappe mit allem Wissenswerten, wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, etc. erhalten. Das Häuschen "La Closerie" entspricht exakt den Fotos (es wirkt in Natura eigentlich noch größer) und ist ein wahres Schmuchstück, in dem wir uns (Mutter und 16-jährige Tochter) sehr wohl gefühlt hatten und uns auch mal wunderbar aus dem Weg gehen konnten ;-) Ich empfehle diese Urlaubs-Destination uneingeschränkt weiter :-) Vielen Dank, Pascale, für die ausgezeichnete Betreuung!

Une retraite idéale en Touraine

La maison, de construction ancienne, a été rénovée pour lui donner un confort optimal où rien ne manque. Le site est calme et beau. L'accueil de Pascale, la propriétaire, est charmant et efficace.

C’était une maison très calme et jolie. Le parking privé, la cuisine moderne, la salle de bain moderne qui marche très bien l’eau chaude. On étend rien de bruit sauf les oiseaux. Si vous voulez passer les vacances tranquilles, la Closerie sera absolument parfaite.

Wonderful location …would do it again. Our Hostess did wonders decorating the Closerie gatehouse.

The Closerie is charming, quiet, and cozy. The house is nicely equipped.; the kitchen is wonderful and has all the necessities for an extended stay. The housekeeping is immaculate. Our hostess Pascale has put together a very nice brochure of the local boulangeries/patisseries in the area. she also provided a lengthy listing of local restaurants and vineyards who offer wine tastings. We took a number of extended walks in the area with acres upon acres of vineyards along our walks. Amboise is just minutes drive from the cottage, and Tours about 20 minutes. Many splendi chateaux are within 30 minutes. Nazelle Negron is a quaint community with lots of interesting history. The cottage has a number of very informative books and Pascale is very helpful - all you need do is ask her.

Hyggelige cottage

Skøn, hyggelig cottage som er meget smagfuldt indrettet. Herligt med lukket have både for gæster og hund. Huset ligger utroligt godt for besøg på de berømte slotte og skønne byer. Værten er flink og hjælpsom. Taler flot engelsk. Tak for friske landæg. Vi vil anbefale dette sted og gerne komme igen😀 Susanne og Knud

Idéal pour se reposer

Accueil très sympathique, présence discrète pour répondre à vos attentes. Logement magnifique dans les anciennes dépendances du château des ormeaux, rénové avec goûts. Logis très bien équipé. Et central pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire et déguster de bons vins. N'hésitez pas ! Un grand merci à Pascale et au plaisir.

Wundervoller Urlaub in der Closerie

wir haben uns in dem sehr schön gestalteten Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt, top ausgestattet mit schönem kleinen ummauerten Hof, in dem wir die abendliche Stille genossen haben. Herzlichen Dank an Pascale für die liebevolle Betreuung ( die frischen Eier ) und die großartige Unterstützung.
