"We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open! "

"This an exceptional place that we recommend very vividly. We spent a beautiful 4 days with two teenagers. The pool made them happy and it was a perfect base for visiting the Castles of the Loire, quite close to Chenonceau, Villandry, Amboise and Azay-le-Rideau among others. The staff is also very nice and accommodating, they started writing to us a few days before our arrival to make sure it went smoothly. Only great things to say about this place!"

"Quiet hotel situated in a very peaceful environment. Check in was relatively fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by the receptionist. Our room was situated on the first floor and was well designed and decorated. After a long trip we had a quick swim at the swimming pool and enjoyed it. "I highly recommend this hotel! The resort and grounds are stunning, pristine, peaceful. The room was sparkling clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. "We stayed last year as a half way stop between our holiday destination and Calais. We really enjoyed coming back for the 3rd time. It’s a lovely quiet location, the hotel reserve a parking space for us as we have the bikes on the roof, we always get a lovely family room. The food wasn’t so good this time, very bland (I had prawns, my husband the salmon ratatouille) the children’s meals are very plain but they eat them and it’s fine. The beds are comfortable and large. Only errors this time was that we requested the bed be made up as a twin and it wasn’t and we had no water when we arrived. "
