"Beautiful property. Gorgeous home renovated with its historical importance captured nicely. I ended up being the only guest and enjoyed the many amenities the house had to offer. The second floor balcony brought a peace and tranquility I didn’t even realize I needed. Watched the small town wake up while sipping coffee under a blanket. I feel very fortunate to have found this property and look forward to staying again. "

"We loved our stay at the mansion and it meet our overnight needs perfectly. We thought we were the only ones there, but in the morning there were several other guests so that attests to how quite it was. The kitchen and living and dining areas were wonderful. I really appreciated the coffee after a somewhat wet hiking experience. "

"We stayed 2 nights in the carriage house at the Litz mansion. Immaculate- great steam shower, comfortable bed and pillows/ Everything you could want or need! Considering places to stay in the area, the Litz house and the especially the carriage house are way better than the other options."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this weekend. The weather was a little hot but we enjoyed roaming the property and letting our dogs explore. They were in love with the baby cows :) Hosts were very helpful providing useful tips for nearby attractions and well as cabin questions."

"I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room. It was a lot smaller and darker than it looked online, but adequate to our needs. Never even thought about it being upstairs; it was difficult carrying our luggage up the stairs. The lighting wasn't good as I could not figure out the overhead light. My 91-year-old sister was disappointed there was no TV in the room. The biggest surprise was the height of the bathroom mirror. "I usually stay at higher rated hotels except when I’m on a fishing trip where location and price matter most. Even at the lower rating I received excellent service from the staff. I provided information to them that I needed an electrical outlet for my boat. They called me to let me know that not only could they provide one but they had coned off space in the parking lot for my boat and trailer in front of the outlet to be sure it was available to me when I arrived. They even made sure I had an extension cord (which I did have). They checked to be sure it worked for me and even asked if we were successful on each day. They definitely went above and beyond more so than I have experienced at any hotel."
