"Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."

"The staff was truly exceptional, and the hospitality was top-notch. However, the building and food did not quite match the premium rates they charge. Based on the overall experience, I would rate it closer to a 4-star property. That said, the outdoor ambiance and lush greenery are among the finest I’ve seen, which adds a lot of charm — but still not enough to justify a full 5-star rating."

"Everything has an old look in the cottage - the view was good but everything from the aircon to fittings were really old and worn out. Getting a Uber from the hotel is a real challenge as there are regular taxi drivers who charge triple the rate waiting at the entrance to turn away our booking. Really frustrating when the hotel can’t help us with this matter."
