Idle Awhile Villa - Almond 4 Bedroom Villa

About this space
The space
Treat yourself to one of the finest properties in Negril: Almond Villa located at Idle Awhile Villas. Set just off the fine sands and calm waters of famed Seven Mile Beach, this holiday rental feels like your own private mansion in an incomparable location. Gorgeous traditional interiors, four suite-style bedrooms and a full staff can host up to eight friends or family members in true tropical luxury.

Your holiday at Almond Villa includes the services of a chef, butler and housekeeper. Borrow water sports equipment like kayaks and sailboats to ply the waters of the bay, or, if you’re over 18, work in a session at the fitness centre at the nearby Couples Swept Away resort. Soak in the Caribbean sunshine in a lounger on the terrace around the pool, or escape the heat in the shaded outdoor living and dining areas. If you’d like to entertain, an indoor wet bar and full-size pool table make it easy.

From its inviting verandas to its wood-trimmed windows and bright, open-plan rooms, Almond Villa charms with its traditional style. In the spacious living room, natural-fiber rugs and wicker armchairs bring island textures inside, while a citrus-hued sectional is a welcoming pop of colour. A fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and breakfast nook offer an array of places to enjoy a morning coffee or mid-afternoon snack.

Four bedrooms with king beds, en-suite bathrooms, lounge areas and private terraces feel like separate honeymoon suites—and are perfect for couples holidaying together. Details like four-poster beds, vaulted ceilings, tiled floors and double doors give the bedrooms classic Caribbean appeal.

Spend your stay enjoying the famously sugary sands and clear waters of Seven Mile Beach or, for souvenir shopping, local cuisine and nightlife, put on your sandals for the 5-minute walk to the nearest city centre. It’s a short drive to the coves of Orange Bay, and well worth the trip to Blue Hole Mineral Spring, where a plunge into the colourful waters is a memorable—and uniquely Jamaican—experience.
