Great motel

Wish we could have stayed longer!

The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family, and the room was clean and modern. What a surprise that one of the nicest beaches we have been to was right across the street! As well as many great restaurants.

Great hotel. On arrival I was upgraded to an Executive Studio on the upper level, with a jetted tub. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower over the bath, well equipped kitchenette, easy parking, friendly host on reception. Good location close to the seashore and on the main road, but that does make it quite noisy if you have the balcony door open. So why the less than stellar rating? When I searched for a hotel in Nelson, I chose this property over a couple of others because the room description of every room at this property lists a "Safe" in the "More" section. I mentioned this inaccuracy to the host on check out, but they were dismissive about it. I think that accuracy and honesty are important. I know that the "Property amenities" section lists a "Safe at front desk", but that is not the same thing.
