Excellent motel in the heart of Nelson city centre. Very clean and comfortable and managers very welcoming and informative. Totally recommend when staying in Nelson.

The staff at the front desk was great! Very helpful and provided great recommendations. Loved that it was in walking distance to many of the sights and restaurants/ bars in Nelson. Bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay again!

Very well appointed motel room. We were (very) worried about the road noise especially as we had room 201 that faces the very busy road. However the property supplies earplugs and, more effectively, a white noise generator. Couple this with the immaculately clean and well equipped room and the super friendly staff we can’t but recommend the Palazzo.

We had a great stay at the Palazzo Motor Lodge. Our studio was large, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. Staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is great for getting around town and there are good bus links nearby if you want to go further afield without driving.

Room very clean. The lady in office very lovely and friendly. The room was perfect for the night. Happy for real milk in a small bottle rather than the silly little individual milk things. Plenty of extra thoughtful items provided. Highly recommend this motel.

Really nice check-in. We were given a map of the community and great tips about places to eat and interesting streets and things to see. The room was super clean and it had such lovely touches, like a phone charger, kitchen area with dishwasher, very comfortable bed and sitting area. Very nice aesthetically too.

This is a great place to stay, been here before and always my preference. It is so quiet despite being a stone’s throw from the city centre and on a busy road. We had a two bedroom unit, it had everything you need, huge rooms, well appointed, nice to have a Nespresso machine, chocolates, good towel supply, really everything was perfect. I thoroughly recommend, super friendly and lovely.
