Magnificent location. Hours of pool and beach were a bit limiting. Parking was not very convenient when transporting luggage.

Beautiful views in a perfect location!
This hotel is in the best location and our room had a spectacular view of the ocean from our own private balcony. Easy to get to, great walkable location, delicious breakfast buffet (with gluten free and nondairy items), and wonderful room. Highly recommend!

Great except for the coffee
It is a lovely hotel well positioned in a great town, we really enjoyed our stay. Only one little issue, only allowed one coffee sash per person per day and a small milk in your room, if you want more milk one euro for a little jug. So penny pinching. Otherwise fantastic.

The hotel is right by the beach and in the most popular street of Nerja. The service is outstanding, I rarely felt so welcome in a hotel. At breakfast, we had a lady pass by to make sure that everything was ok with the room, told her that the shampoo dispenser wasn’t working and it got immediately fixed. We had a Junior suite with a balcony with a magnificent view. At the beach, they have chairs and umbrellas you can use. The water the first days was perfect, but our last two days we had a red flag because of the waves. The swimming pool is beautiful and the water was warmer than the beach, although finding chairs available was harder.

Great location
Great location and wonderful views. Breakfast very good. Room was clean and comfortable, but very small. Some staff very friendly and helpful, some were less customer focused.

The location was stunning. Located right on the Mediterranean the scenery at breakdast was beautiful. You could swim in the sea and in the pool. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.

I found this hotel to have high standards, it was very traditional. I liked that there was a dress code in the restaurant. The staff were excellent and made ours stay very comfortable. The room was lovely and the sea view stunning

Hotel is in agrega location, close to multiple beaches and all the best dining options. The hotel has access direct access to the beach and a small swimming pool. The hotel itself is a little dated, the beds are ok and the bathroom is a little small but overall a comfortable stay. I don't think there is a nicer option in Nerja (not from what we could see).

Lovely hotel although some bedrooms needed updating. Common areas were very nice and very clean. Food and servce was excellent with prices in hotel very competitive with local area. Great location. My friends and I found it noisy and I mean when in bedrooms tryig to sleep (or not) you could hear furniture being moved, people talking on their phones and the actual conversation. TVs. Early morning deliveries (6am)...we had a very good price but if paying the full price....

Third visit to the Balcon and standards are excellent as previous. COVID standards are upheld strongly but not to affect your stay. Staff as always very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning soon

Wonderful hotel
We absolutely loved it. The position of the hotel is really stunning, we had a junior suit was specious and very comfortable with a super king bed and private balcony with a sea view . Breakfast was good and staff brilliant. Pool area is a bit small so you need to grab your sun bed when is available. The A/C was a bit weak, but they’ve provided us with a fun which was perfect. The only frustration thing was that due to COVID restrictions the lift could only be used by a person (or family) and you have to wait for long times, so we used mostly the stairs. Luckily we are both fit. All in all a super hotel and I’d definitely recommend it.

Fantastic location.
Lovely hotel adjacent to the famous Balcón Europa and right in the heart of the main tourist area in Neeja. Fantastic sea views from the majority of the rooms although I noticed some rooms were of the main entrance way to the hotel and would have been noisy. Very nice breakfast buffet with a good selection of hot and cold items along with fantastic views from the restaurant. My only negative is that the 2 nearest car parks are both very expensive at €18 per 24h and although there is free street parking it’s further away and difficult to find.

Average Hotel with a great view.
I obviously read the reviews prior to my stay but I cannot understand how this hotel got this rating? A 9.2? That is a near perfect rating. Based on this rating I went ahead and booked the hotel. No way close. To begin with the parking is a public parking and then you pack all your luggage from the parking through the crazy busy streets (pedestrian zone) just outside the hotel. The first night was awful. We had neighbors that either sacrificed humans or just did not get along. All this around 1am. This happened 2 nights in a row. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The 2nd night not only did we have the neighbors making loads of noise but the plumbing starting making noise like it was going to explode. This happened on the 3rd night again. The shower door required pounding to get it closed. Like many hotels at the moment (probably due to Covid) this one is understaffed but I must say they made their best effort to please. Overall i would rate this hotel around a 7.8 - 8.0 max. The view from the room was amazing (Junior Suite) as well as from the breakfast room if you got there early enough to get a table by the window.
