It is directly behind the high street, with the local pubs, tea shop, restaurants and shops a brief walk away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. There is an interesting history to the property, making it a charming place to stay."

"The apartment was very spacious and had all the required utensils etc for a comfortable stay, the apartment was clean and well appointed. The welcome pack was a nice touch and meant I did not have to go get milk when I arrived. The lounge was comfortable and the area was central but fairly quiet. All the provided linen and towels were clean and good quality, with basic toiletries provided (soap/shampoo). The negatives you have to pay a just in case deposit, this was shock and at the time...

"The Malmaison is in an old prison, close to the train station and close to areas of interest in Oxford. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Our room was comfortable, but the lack of a refrigerator was disappointing. (The staff was happy to deliver a bucket of ice upon request.) We enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant. There were also excellent lunch and dinner options within an easy walk. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."
