This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! "Herr Buchholz ist ein freundlicher Gastgeber. Die kleine Wohnung ist für 2 Personen genau ausreichend, romantisch und gemütlich. Alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden.Allerdings ist das Häuschen inzwischen so zugewachsen, dass es drinnen etwas dunkel ist.Das Ferienhaus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um den Darß mit dem Fahrrad in alle Richtungen zu erkunden."

"A nice place to stay: nice rooms and a super breakfast, but unless you are prepared to pay £70/night to park your car in their underground parking you could have quite a walk back to the hotel (like we did). We hit it lucky, though, because even though we had quite a walk we only had to pay for an hour’s parking as it was 3pm Friday afternoon and after four it’s free until Monday morning. The other disappointment was the horrific stains on the carpets in some of the corridors. The carpets really do need replacing. Apart from that, great."
