The Hinterste Mühle is a historic site on the city limits of Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). Located in the Lindetal landscape protection area, the site is characterized by its natural and recreational design. The Hinterste Mühle with its mill pond forms the starting and crossing point for many hiking trails. Since the middle of the 19th Century the Neubrandenburg and their guests like to use the Hinterste Mühle as a local recreation and excursion destination. The Hinterste Mühle gGmbH is responsible for the social and youth center at the Hinterste Mühle location. As an institution for child and youth work in Neubrandenburg, it organizes events, thematic campaign days, holiday camps and day care centers for children and young people.  Leisure activities: The Hinterste Mühle location is the starting point for hikes and trips in the surroundings of Neubrandenburg, to Stargard Castle or to the Müritz.
