"Quiet semi rural location in an area close to lots of fun things to do and see. Beds were comfortable, home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with items for cooking or heating food. Alexandre was very responsive and met us at the property both checking in and leaving. We had a good stay."

"Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. Because of its aspect the house was very hot in the over 30C weather. We appreciated the ready access to buses and of course the Riverside"

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"Beautiful place and people. Frederic is a wonderful host. He allowed early check in and attended to all of our needs. There are stairs to the bedrooms, he carried our luggage up and down. The property vastly exceeds the description and certainty our expectations. There are many châteaux and wineries. Frederic helped us with our itinerary. We would very much love to return."

"We had an excellent stay at Ballan-Miré. The house is really nice and well furnished, including towels and tea towels, BBQ, outside seating etc. The beds were done on arrival which is really appreciated. The house was clean and a good size, with two large bathrooms. The garden is big and really nice and sunny. WiFi is working well. There is a large supermarket 5 min drive away. No shops at walking distance. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. Overall a very positive experience! "

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. There was also no air...

"This is a unique property, with a kind and accommodation host who was keen to share the history and personal connection with the area. Our hosts gave us great guidance on where to visit! The accommodation close to the town and amenities but offered tranquility away from the tourists. Surrounded by vineyards and amazing night sky views….. complete with owl sounds!"

"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this lovely house. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was great! The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. Overall, we loved our stay and had the great time. Eloïse and her father were a great help when we needed it and they were such lovely people!"

"We recently visited the Loire Valley with our family of four adults. This loft was well equipped and modern. Washer/dryer and drying rack appreciated. There was some construction on the street in front of the building, but we were able to access the unit from the back lane. If you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge but they were not a concern for us. Quick response from owner with any questions. Overall an excellent place and we would stay here again."

"We loved our stay at this cute cottage just a few minutes drive outside of Amboise. It is perfectly located for castle sightseeing, away from the busy city but easily accessible. Our hosts were wonderful and informative. The property is as described in the listing and in excellent condition. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Awful. It felt like a homeless person place. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "

"The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue. "
