Beautiful hotel, quality of hotel shows with all the facilities. Rooms are amazing, room stays very dark because we didnt have any natural lighting but it was okay. Breakfast was lovely, outdoor pool area is nice. Only downside for us was the indoor pool not being heated, kids wanted to go in at night but couldn't get in from how cold the water temperature was.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barceló and would highly recommend it. Highlights of our stay: Fantastic rooms – beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Wonderful staff – everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Excellent breakfast – a huge variety of delicious options to choose from every morning. Amazing spa – we tried the hammam and massage treatments, which were excellent. We also loved the swimming area, jacuzzi, and sauna, making it the perfect place to relax. Overall, Barceló exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again.

Very modern posh hotel, tastefully kitted out with staff in beige and white uniforms: all as you'd expect in these sorts of hotels. Very close to the main road (thus very easy to drive to). I had a room overlooking the pool so no noise problem for me. Room was nice and large, had a fridge to chill your beer, good AC and bed. Shower was great, lots of towels, smellies etc etc. Well equipped. Wi fi was a bit problematic at times. Gym is decent (weight machine, decent free weights, own AC unit for the room and sweat towels. A few cardio machines). Inside pool is ok to soak in but it is dark and mostly occupied by kids and parents. If you want to swim lengths the outdoor pool (unheated) is decent. Helpful and professional staff. Hotel is a short drive to main town and local bars and restaurants there. I had breakfast at the hotel which was good, big, quality style buffet type with an egg station but I can't comment on evening meals or drinks. Lots of room in the car park. All the main sites in the area are short drive away (I had a car). I tried the hamman, which had very good quality furnishings and professional staff: all in all very good. Not cheap but you do get what you pay for. Hamman staff are Indonesian/Thai- not seen any Turkish people actually operate in these places, Albeit in my limited experience.

The hotel is beautifully laid out. The rooms are light and airy. The bed was one of the softer ones we found in Turkey, where so many mattresses are hard. There were a few construction/maintenance issues with our room (that are probably the case in other rooms). The thresholds were not made of solid wood and the laminate was peeling. The bathroom shower (while large, with easy push-buttons to control the rain showerhead versus the telephone showerhead) was not caulked properly, so the bathroom floor flooded. While you're there, definitely take advantage of the spa and pools--those were our favorite part. The hotel store is also surprisingly well stocked and reasonably priced. The one breakfast we ordered wasn't spectacular; however, that might have been because we ordered the American-style option, and we weren't in America. :) The dinner service was good and the restaurant staff were super polite and helpful. The air conditioning worked beautifully, all over the hotel!

The hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. It’s at a drivable distance from all the key points in Goreme National Park, making it very accessible. Additionally the breakfast food is amazing, and our room was great too. Although the outdoor pool wasn’t open when we went, the indoor pool is just as beautiful and calming. You should definitely book this hotel.

Not much service was available. We arrived with 3 luggage’s and no one was at the front door to help us bring in the luggages. When we checked into the room, it was different from the photos that were advertised at the time of the booking. We tried to talk to the front desk but they just rudely ignore the comment and mentioned that all rooms in the hotels were all the same. We had to call hotels.com to help us sort out the issue, which the staff at hotels.com helped and finally assisted us to a room change. Shout out to the hotels.com team for that. In general the hotel is new and clean. To use the pool the require swimming caps, which they charge another EUR 5 for , and if you want to use the hot tub, it is another EUR 35 for the reservation. So we rarely saw anyone use any of the facilities. The breakfast was quite good, but tables and floor are often not cleaned. Overall the hotel is good because it is new , but service and amenities were disappointing.

Hotel location is not good in sense of view but it is very practical as starting point for visiting Capadoccia. Parking is available, size good. Reception is efficient & flexible, superior room (2042) was good in terms of size, cleanless, but amenitiess are ruther basic. Towels, bedding are excellent. Breakfast was great untill 16th of Nov. when majority of guests left which affected breakfast veriety and spa funcionality. I eould specially point out chef during breakfast which gladly prepared excellent eggs for us the way we expected up to last day. Weak point is room house keeping which 3 days out of 9 forgott to clean our room ( sign for room cleaning is well made and visible but...). SPA personel is horendeus, terrible in every sence, far far bellow hotel standard ( up to point that 2 "girls" just being "pritty" explained that you can get 1 towel/per person/per day because they don't have towels and that is thrir policy, laughing at our face). First time in my 40+ year of travelling I was insulted this way, such arogance and attitude. Also last 3 days they swiched of finish sauna, stopped heating pool and pool was "rented" yo school kids lessonss so it was not possible to use it. Bit dissapointing.

Very clean, staff is very helpful. Food at the restaurant tasted good. Hotel design is beautiful. Everything is well maintained. This is very close to everything but requires a ride down the hill to all the tourist shops. Its nice and quiet there while being 5 minutes by car/van ride to all of the attractions, restaurants and small shops.

I loved this property and I plan to revisit at every opportunity. The staff were amazing, the hotel smelled like heaven, the property was extremely clean and the convenience to town was great.
