Cappadocia Caves Hotel

"We were in the presidential suite. The jacuzzi tub wasn’t usable and caused the whole bathroom to smell. Even after the cleaning team came in it still smelled. I also kept finding dirt on my bed which looked like parts of the ceiling and walls. I can’t confirm it was flaking off or somehow transferred there. The restaurant is only for breakfast which was disappointing when you wanted afternoon coffee, but the staff were helpful and did restock the room coffee on request. So long as you know you’re spending time in a cave and don’t expect perfection, then you’ll be fine. We only spent 2 nights. Also, definitely not for anyone handicapped as it’s a full maze of staircases. I don’t know if things are better during the summer?"

"Firstly, we received a very warm welcome from Metin, the evening reception staff member, at checkin, who helped us with self-parking in very tight limited parking areas, and brought our luggage in, and personally showed us our room. He then gave us recommendations on places to eat and sights to see on an area map. He offered to help with booking hot air balloon rides, and provided discount codes for the same. I would like to make special mention of the immense help provided by Servet, the morning reception staff member, who went to great lengths in connecting me with the car rental customer service department and speaking with them in Turkish to help resolve a problem I was having. Our hotel room had special charm, in that it was historically a kitchen area with an oven and pit for storing wine jars, which had been repurposed to provide decor as a hotel room. It was pleasantly spacious and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with pleasant and polite staff making the experience more enjoyable. The hotel had a rooftop that provided great views of the fairy chimneys and balloons as they rose aloft. It is situated in a prime location amongst other cave hotels, and within easy walking distance to downtown Göreme, and driving distance to most sightseeing spots."

"Highly recommend staying here for your trip to Cappadocia. It’s exactly what you picture when you want to stay in a cave hotel. The rooms are all unique , large and very comfortable. The staffs communication is 10/10 and are so accommodating and helpful . We enjoyed the spa located on the premise and even treated ourselves to a couple massage which was amazing after a travel day. If we come back we will be staying here!! They went above and beyond."

"Enjoyed our stay here despite the atrocious weather! We had a lovely room in a genuine cave. Unfortunately it trained so hard that it came through the roof, but the staff moved us to another equally nice cave."
