A unique experience - this is an old, large rambling hotel that has an enormous amount of charm. The rooms are quite spacious, with beds on a raised platforms and candlestick phones to call reception (loved that!). The garden is spacious with multiple places to sit amongst the greenery - it's like a manor back-garden where the owners are more concerned about growth and experience than manicured lawns. Two pools, geese, hens, a horse, lots of fruit trees and, of course, some friendly cats. Staff were friendly and always helpful. The one improvement they need to make is to upgrade the windows in the panoramic rooms: the transparency of the windows is quite degraded due to age and weather and this was disappointing. However the views from the balconies are unbeatable and I got wonderful photos of the air balloons in the sunrise sky (there must have been at least sixty of them in flight). I also had a good view of Uchisar castle and the rock cave landscape. The hotel has many lounges and areas, all furnished with elegant art and furniture. The home made lemonades are delicious and refreshing. I loved staying there and would do so again.

Hands down one of the best hotels in Cappadocia. The hospitality I received from the staff was by far the best I received in all of Turkey. I recommend this place to anyone on their honeymoon, wedding anniversary, or romantic retreat.

Lovely welcome from staff. Garden and pool area was disappointing. No comfortable seating to relax. One of the pools was dirty. Room 210 was quirky, full of antique furniture but very clean. Lovely balcony with great views, but some flowers in the plant pots would have been nice instead of weeds and cigarette butts. Round bed was a challenge to get in and out if. Had to use the many cushions to prop up pillows. Could have done with bigger quilt and more pillows. Bathroom spacious and great pressure on the shower. Breakfast was good but suspect same olives and cheese brought out several times. Nice coffee. Location was a bit out of the centre with quite a walk up to the castle and bars restaurants etc. Worst thing for me -there was a butchery place just across and we saw animals being led from a pen across the street and strung up to slaughter. Don't know if this was a regular occurrence or just for Eid but it was very upsetting to see.

An awesome place to be spoiled.

Karlik Evi Hotel was a surprisingly wonderful place. My family got a great kick out of it. The hotel is very eclectic and artsy. It is furnished with overstuffed chairs and handmade wood tables, dressers, armoires and more. The hotel itself is constructed from the same blocks representative of the fairy chimneys. All that is cool, but the people make it the best. Everyone truly treated us like friends, family and honored guests. Breakfast was amazing with a wide assortment of fresh, healthy and delicious food. Definitely too much to eat. I truly cannot give a higher rating to this hotel. It is marvelous. The rooms are very spacious and comfy.

stayed at Karlık Otel in Cappadocia and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and truly above and beyond. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more special. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had breathtaking views of the Cappadocian landscape. Every aspect of my stay was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch, and the ambiance was both cozy and luxurious. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a wide array of fresh, delicious local and international options. Karlık Otel’s prime location made exploring the wonders of Cappadocia incredibly convenient. Whether it was the incredible hot air balloon views or the nearby historical sites, everything was just a short distance away. I can’t recommend Karlık Otel enough for anyone visiting Cappadocia. It was an unforgettable experience, and I look forward to returning one day!

Beautiful view of the balloons from the panoramic room. The windows in the ceiling are a nice touch as well to look at stars in the middle of the night. The breakfast spread was absolutely impeccable. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and also helped book all the activities we wanted to do in Goreme and Uchisar. Thank you Abdullah and all the staff!

Her bir duvarına sanatın işlendiği çok etkileyici dekora sahip otel, sanat galerisi veya bir müzenin içinde yaşadığınız hissini verirken tarihi dokusu ile de müthiş bir deneyim oldu. Gerek otel sahibi gerek çalışanlardan özellikle Gülten Hanım, Sezer Bey ve diğer arkadaşlar olsun her konuda çok yardımcı idiler, ki buna güzel sohbetleri de dahil. Tüm çalışanlar istisnasız çok güler yüzlüler. Hiçbir sorunla da karşılaşmadık, her şey fazlasıyla iyiydi. Hele kahvaltıları efsane diyebilirim. Çeşit ve miktar çok fazlaydı ve hepsinin lezzeti çok iyiydi. Odaları, iç dinlenme mekanları, bahçesi ile her konuda konfor ve estetiğin hakim olduğu müthiş bir otel. 현지 느낌 물씬나는 인테리어와 친절한 사장님과 직원들분들이 너무너무 정겨운 호텔입니다. 객실 테라스에서 볼수있는 벌룬은 꿈같은 정경으로 가슴깊이 고이고이 새겨서 간직하고 풀장과 가든 조명도 너무 멋있어서 꼭 다시 묵고싶은 호텔입니다. 카파도키아가 너무 좋아졌습니다. 몇번이고 다시 와서 다시 묵고 싶습니다. 와이너리가 있다고 하니 다음번에는 꼭 분워기 좋은 호텔 레스토렁에서 와인 한잔 하고 싶습니다. 감사했습니다~ 다음에 뵐께요~~
