My boyfriend and I stayed at Millstone Cave Suites for 3 nights in September, 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. First and foremost is the amazing, friendly staff - from the hotel owner who was onsite every day to the manager and other personnel who went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable and relaxing.
Rooms: There are both cave suites and more traditional rooms (also made out of stone). All the rooms are very well appointed with simple elegance. Great bathtubs and very comfortable beds.
Food: Breakfast (included with the room) was outstanding. Each table receives its own selection of cheese, nuts, fruit, meats, homemade breads, honey, jams, etc. Eggs are offered made to order, along with coffee, tea, and water. We had lunch and dinner as well - nice meze selection handmade on site and dinner included food direct from their own tandoor oven. We had lamb and shrimp from the tandoor oven, which was wonderful. Nice wines and even some raki with dinner.
Staff: The staff were a big part of what made our stay such a wonderful experience. Alper the owner was on site each morning to greet us by name and was very attentive to any of our needs. Burcu, the manager, was so helpful with car rentals, hot air balloon rides, advice on tours, making dinner reservations, and pretty much anything else. Muslim made all of our meals special, and always accommodated any requests with a laugh and a smile.
Activities: So much to do around Cappadocia!
