This cabin was perfect—clean, beautifully decorated and cozy, remote/private for our dog to run around freely and had absolutely everything we needed. We hope to go back again someday.
We loved our stay, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were great and even left us and our dogs welcome gifts. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows and blankets for the entire family. There was plenty of space for our dogs to play. We would highly recommend staying and look forward to booking it again in the future.
Cardinal Pines is in a lovely, quite, remote spot surrounded by nature. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into the décor and feel of the place to match the mountain setting.
If you like to cook, the kitchen they have there is very well stocked with appliances and cookware which we really enjoyed using. It's secluded but not far from Oneonta which has all the stores & etc. you need.
In short it's the perfect blend of rustic mountainy feel, without sacrificing any modern comforts!

Our anniversary stay
First of all, this cabin has EVERYTHING you can think you might need. Mike and Debbie have thought of it all. The space is very true to photos, and honestly, even better in person. They had left a little welcoming pack for us and our fur baby. The property is well maintained and our hosts were very quick to respond to any question that came up - although with their welcome book - there wasn’t much left to ask. We found plenty to do in the area that was dog friendly which was another HUGE plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Absolutely beautiful location! Cabin is clean, tidy, and cozy and the hosts are absolutely wonderful! After the daily chaos of the All Star Village tournament, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind!
We LOVED it here! The location was perfect, plenty of privacy. Night time sky was amazing. Amenities were plentiful. Plenty of space inside. Will look into staying here again!!

Perfect hideaway
Stayed here while grandson played baseball in Cooperstown and it was perfect location. Very quiet and isolated, a very nice place to relax, everything you need is on hand and in working condition with no problems. Would stay again and highly recommend.
From the time we walked in the door until the time we walked out everything was perfect. We came to town as our son was playing at All-Star Village which was only an 11 mile drive away. We had campfires that were one of our favorites of the week sitting around catching up with my parents who came with us. Everything was thought of when stocking the cabin with all the necessary items and beyond! The owner was very kind and courteous and went above for sure. If we were to come back I would choose this spot each time. If you are looking for peace, quiet and family time this is your place!

Exceptional Stay
Everything was top shelf, and extremely thoughtfully stocked.. from the appliances, to the dishes, to an extra roll of toilet paper, flashlights, coffee and a welcome gift. The bed was SUPER comfy and the yard was plenty of space to play. Relaxing by the fire pit in the comfy chairs. They even provided blankets for sitting around the fire pit and toys for the pups if you are lucky enough to bring yours on vacation with you. It would have been nice to have brighter lights in the kitchen at night, but we used the flashlight when needed to read instructions. I hate that we were so busy that we didn’t get to spend much time enjoying the relaxing cabin. We did make time for a nature walk and grilled out a night or two. The bedding was super comfy and the cabin was very clean. The hosts were attentive to any questions we had. We were here for baseball, so we did have to go to the laundromat down the way, but that was so close it was not a big deal. Anyone coming for All Star Village in Cooperstown, I definitely recommend this well kept secret! 5 star rating all the way and then more! Amazing Hosts!!!
