4BR/3BA Guadalupe River home just 1/4 mile North of the 2nd crossing on River Rd in New Braunfels, Tx.

Just a few minutes from antiques and shopping in downtown New Braunfels and Gruene.

From this 1/2 acre property enjoy the scenic cliff-side and beautiful 101 feet of private DIRECT RIVER ACCESS right out of the back door (only for use by renters of this home)!

Tube rental and shuttle service is provided just 100 yards away at Son's Guadalupe, and a little further at the Loan Star Float House. Flloating with these outfits allows you to float all the way back to the house or exit at a variety of places up and down the river.

This location is perfect for playing in the river or just relaxing as you watch others float in the river below. Also, if you enjoy live music, shopping and restaurants, the property is short drive to Whitewater Amphitheater & Gruene Hall.

If you get tired of playing in the river, 'Schlitterbahn', a wonderful water park is located in New Braunfels.

The house is well situated on the Guadalupe river and makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable place on the river with the cliffs as a backdrop.The house and property were clean, modern and good size for a large group/family. The property runs into the river with an easy walking to the river. Overall highly recommend the house and the area.

Beautiful property for a weekend getaway

The house was perfect for three adult couples, with three small children. The house was very roomy. The yard is huge and the kids kids loved playing games there. Also the yard fronts on the Guadalupe river which is also beautiful.

Beautiful, peaceful view of the river. Hosts had drawers tagged with contents. Beds were comfortable. Really nice home layout with large bedrooms & bathrooms. Large deck with wonderful view of river. Seemed private as there is a rock embankment across the river.

Absolute perfection!!

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The house is beautiful, the river access is great. We have been renting through VRBO for about 20 years and this was up there. My son said it was in the top three…one on Orcas Island, one tree house in Costa Rica and this home. We could not have asked for more. Thanks so much for having us!!!

The house was beautiful, and the amenities were perfect. The only issue we had was check in was delayed due to house cleaning staff and very little water pressure in 2nd and 3rd showers. Everything else was perfect.

Amazing River Access and House

This gorgeous house was absolutely everything we could’ve asked for. It was perfect for a group which range from adults down to babies. The river access was second to none in the house had all the amenities we needed. The owner was super responsive and we were perfectly located on River Road close to the river action, but in a quiet residential area. We will definitely return.

Spotlessly Clean, Wonderful Host

We had a small glitch getting in when we first arrived, but Cody was extremely responsive. The place was spotlessly clean. I really appreciate that. Everything has its place in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. Too bad some guests don't follow those, because it makes it so much easier to find and to put away things. We really enjoyed ourselves. Location was the best feature.

Location couldn’t have been better. Huge yard with river access and multiple tube rentals and shuttles nearby. Depending on your activities and preference, you may want to bring some items of your own. We could have used more dish towels, and wish we’d brought our own pots and pillows. Also had a few wasps get into the master bathroom through the air vent in the ceiling.

Relaxing time well worth it!

This rental is at a beautiful location with great river access. Plenty of space for 8 adults. All of the rooms were open and big, did not feel small at all and the A/C worked great. The kitchen and laundry room were fully stocked. Just needed to buy charcoal for the grill as there was not enough/we didn’t bring any and we didn’t know there was an air compressor in the laundry room as we brought our own to fill our tubes. Even though the water was low, we still had a great time. The second day on the River we bought paddles which helped a lot. I recommend visiting Gruene, Texas (just a 16 minute drive), they have great food and cute stores to shop and look around. Also check out “Natural Bridge Caverns” (just a 28 minute drive), they have a safari/dinosaur park you can drive thru and the caverns are beautiful. If you are looking to get away from the city and not be in the summer rush this is the perfect time to go after Labor Day. I recommend this rental to anyone and would rent again in the future.
