With gorgeous views of Smith Creek, this spacious log home provides picturesque views of the creek from every room (Note Smith Creek is a wet weather creek). In the evening, guests may relax under the stars in a private hot tub just outside the back door. With 2 bedrooms,1 bath Clearwater Log Home will sleep 8 comfortably. Clearwater is located only minutes from the Wimberley town square but offers the seclusion of your own private hill country escape.

Guests will find Clearwater Log Cabin warm and inviting with rustic hill country décor. This log home offers all the amenities one could wish for or need for a family getaway. Enjoy the beautiful knotty pine ceiling, stately limestone rock wood burning fireplace, hardwood flooring and a fully stocked kitchen with everything one needs to prepare favorite meals. Cozy up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie on the flat screen television or enjoy a romantic evening by the fireplace. Shower in a full bath with a large vanity. Sleep soundly in the master bedroom that hosts a comfy king size bed as well as a queen futon, each with lovely linens. Guests will find the second bedroom offers a queen bed with comfortable linens. Girl's Trip

Great location. Very quiet and pretty. Cabin was clean and had most everything we needed. Coffee on the porch in the mornings. Enjoyed watching the squirrels and watching the deer. Plan on returning again.

Awesome Cabin

It was a super nice cabin. It was clean and smelled great. The back porch was awesome with the rocking chairs. We ate breakfast out there each morning. The bed was comfy and the kitchen worked great. Secluded, beautiful nature views and still very close to town. Would totally come back!

Lovely Little Getaway!

My friend and I really enjoyed our state at this lovely cabin. We were a little sad when we saw the state of the creek due to some recent heavy rains, but we still spent most of our time on the large back porch, watching and listening to all the nature sounds. We had a minor issue with a lock on the master bedroom's door, but the host had someone come by as soon as possible to fix it, so we can't complain there! I will say that the plumbing can be a bit noisy, as every once in a while we'd flush the toilet and hear this really high-pitched ringing sound. The sound was temporary and after a while we sort of made a game out of it, trying to match the tone, haha. I also took part in the hot tub once during our stay and it was really nice. And I love that we didn't have to drive far at all to get to Wimberly Square for shopping!Anyway, we both agreed the place had SO much character and was the perfect way to escape the city for a few days!

Cabin on Smith Creek

Location and view were great. Very peaceful. We loved watching the hummingbirds. (side steps were a bit slippery. also there were no directions to find the location, and it was so hard to find. The property manager was extremenly kind in getting us to the gate. )

Country Cabin only minutes from Wimberly

This cabin was a great option to have the comfortable country feel with a secured entry on main road only minutes from Wimberly, that has a wonderful grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and things to do. The cabin was super neat and inviting with plenty of towels and nice linens. The wonderful porch and outdoor seating areas is well laid out with 2 bedroom home with everything you need. We enjoyed the pond with little waterfall, fish, hummingbirds, deer, and just a peaceful setting. Would highly recommend. Thank you! Roxanne & Bill

Lovely property

The property was as described. It very comfortable and private. A few notes: -we arrived to find 2 large garbage bags full of trash by the bbq; I had to walk them up to the bins myself. I wasn’t pleased about this-kitchen was lacking a few items. There are no oven mitts or spatula (for flipping pancakes)-hot tub is nice but temp too low (we adjusted to the max, but it was still low)-it would be helpful to know that the bbq requires charcoal (it’s not gas) before arriving. That would be good to note in the listing

Fun 2nd Honeymoon

We enjoyed our stay. The grounds and cabin were clean and very nice. We particularly liked the back porch/balcony overlooking the creek. We also enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi. We found the location to be very convenient to Wimberley center. The turn-off from the highway was in disrepair, which caused my car to bottom out and get damaged. There were also several fire ant mounds on the property. In all, it was a lovely getaway in a very clean and nicely appointed cabin with a gorgeous view. We can see ourselves coming back.

Quiet/peaceful weekend getaway

My husband and I are locals from Marble Falls - we stayed here for a weekend away together! The cabin is the perfect size for 2 adults or a family of 4. The backyard is spacious and flows with the living space. Super cute decor l, awesome fire place for the winter months, good size kitchen space. The hot tub was well maintained and so nice! The distance to town is perfect. We loved that it was gated. We will definitely stay here again in the future! Notes: the cabin is on the same property as 2 other cabins but they are in their own space and private as well. Some reviews mention the difficulty finding the gate? It’s not hard. It’s a gravel road. This is Texas. Get over it. Lol Suggestion: the property owner provides direct tv - if it were me, I’d get rid of the direct tv and upgrade all the tvs to smart TVs so guests can just sign into their streaming services. It would save money in the long run as well. 😊 Thank you so much for having us!

The location and cabin were great. A little rustic. Kitchen doesn't have a lot of basic needs and the toilet would give a high pitched squeal d/t a bad seal. Overall it's a nice place!

Beautiful cabin in Wimberley!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is honestly even prettier in person than the photos. We loved the back porch and fire pit and would definitely stay again!

Home was a little bit dirty. Cobwebs and grounds not too clean. Also kitchen was old furniture with sticky drawers. Noise from the road was a bummer. Did enjoy the water and birds however.

Awesome time

We had a great time at this property. The hot tub was very relaxing. The weather really didnt cooperate(overcast and dreary, misting rain) but still had a great time. Cabin is rustic. Felt like we went back in time, but still had modern day appliances. Only thing to add would be if a washer/dryer was there. The cabin was clean. Nothing was broken. Everything worked as expected. Would go back again.

Cabin on the creek

The pictures were misleading. What I thought I was renting and what I actually rented was two very different accommodations.I did not receive the necessary paperwork until the final day of arrival.Upon arrival, we had a very difficult time getting into the cabin as the front door was extremely hard to open. As a result, we found it necessary to enter the cabin from the back door. There was not a key available for that door, so we had to leave the cabin unlocked when we went anywhere.I would not rent from this company again.
