The hosts, Dave and Donna, really made is feel at home. The breakfasts each day were delicious. The house was very homey and the surrounding area beautiful. This was definitely a 5-star place.

Great time in Wimberley

Wonderful first time experience at a Bed and Breakfast. Donna and Dave were wonderful hosts and provided great breakfast and conversation. The location was beautiful and private, yet close enough to all the shops and activities. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Wimberley.

Great experience!

This is a nice property in the middle of a hill. I am happy to have stayed in this place because it really helped me disconnect; the location is convenient for touring around. Donna and Dave made us feel like we were visiting family. They were friendly and went the extra mile by giving us advice about Wimberley’s surroundings. The room was clean with a charming country decoration, and the breakfast was very hearty and delicious. Definitely a place to come back to!

It was my first time staying at a B&B and this property was the best choice to get that experience, the hostess were friendly , helpful and very accommodating. Breakfast was very home and catered with care and hospitality. Rooms were clean and each has its own character. I had all I need it. My only observation is that the walls are very thin I could hear all that was going on in the other rooms , might be a turn off for some . Over all good experience , I would come back , for sure .

The house is a beautiful and very secluded property. It sits on 11 acres and it's surrounded by trees. The owners, Dave and Donna, are wonderful and very sweet. They keep this place immaculate. Both of them are very welcoming and great to talk to. The breakfast is fantastic with a nice variety of delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients. They have great options for coffee and tea as well. Our room was very nice and cozy. The bed was a little firm for our taste but everything at this property gets 5 stars. There are several fun things to do in the area such as hiking, shopping, art, museums and great restaurants, all within 5-40 minutes of the property. We will stay again when we come back to the area and do recommend the Prow'd House 100%. Thank you, Dave and Donna for an excellent and enjoyable stay. It was the perfect getaway for us.

A Perfect Hill Country Getaway – We Can’t Wait to Return! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Prow’d House Bed & Breakfast by Dave & Donna Kyte in Wimberley. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The property is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Texas Hill Country. It’s easy to see why this B&B has earned such a great reputation with so many guests. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail reflected the care and pride the owners take in the property. The quiet setting made it the perfect place to unwind. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending time on the spacious deck. Whether enjoying the morning light, relaxing on the porch swing, or watching the sunset over the beautiful oak trees, flowering crepe myrtles, and Hill Country landscape, every moment felt peaceful and refreshing. The natural surroundings, birds, and wildlife made it a true escape from city life. The location is excellent—close enough to downtown Wimberley, wineries, Blue Hole, Jacob’s Well, and local restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet setting that feels private and serene. It was the perfect base for exploring everything the area has to offer. Breakfast was delicious and a wonderful way to start each day. It’s clear that hospitality is a priority here, and the warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. This matches what many other guests have experienced as well.
