Built in 1932, the San Marcos mayor's estate once hosted Gatsby-esqe parties pre-WWII, and it has been lovingly restored to its former glory to host yet again. Stone courtyard in the back, grand entry path in the front, situated on a hill with gorgeous views of Texas Hill Country, and less than a mile walk to historic Downtown San Marcos and its crystal clear natural springs of the San Marcos River.
Incredibly quiet neighborhood in the San Marcos Historic District, million dollar homes on the same street lovingly restored just as Stone Oak Manor has been, dating as far back as the Victorian period. Get the best of both worlds: ideal location a quick walk to downtown, plus privacy and quiet. The historic mansion is all yours for as long as you desire.
