The location was where I wanted to be and the apartment had been updated. However, my one-night stay here wasn't a smooth experience as I didn't receive all the check-in information with the check-in email, so I had to scramble with poor service to find a number. Thankfully, the host was quick to respond. When I dried my hands with the towels, they came away with long blonde hairs, which made me nervous to trust the cleanliness. The bed was way too soft for my preference and left me with a sore back. Additionally, there was no top sheet, so I was sleeping with a comforter that every guest touches. I also couldn't find the gym that was in the listing. I expected more for the price.

Apartment was very clean and well supplied, host very responsive. Location is convenient to Yale and restaurants. As noted in the listing, you'll have to carry your luggage up 4 flights of stairs. There is some street noise as is typical for that part of the city. Very happy with it overall and plan to stay again.

The host was very helpful and responsive. The bed frame in the apt was broken and we temporarily fixed it because it was late. The host immediately offered to have us switch to a similar unit in the building but because it was late, we chose to stay. The next morning, however, there was no hot water in the unit so we switched to the other one. Hot water was still an issue in the new one--it never got above luke-warm. Both apartments were clean and newly renovated but because of the water situation, we wouldn't stay there again.
