When you book BayouChateau, you get the entire house to yourself, including the deck and covered parking space for two vehicles (guests can park free at Bouligny Plaza). Our guests love the unique location of our property, tucked away on the bayou and just one block from Main Street. You won't find anything like it in the area. And with no other guests the share space with, you'll have complete privacy and a more affordable alternative to a hotel. Multiple night stays offer the best value, but one-night bookings are also welcome. Please note that the cleaning fee is the same regardless of the length of your stay.

We like to meet our guests upon arrival to answer any questions they may have about the area. We're also available by phone 24/7, and although we do not reside on the property, you can count on us for any assistance you might need.

Location is everything, and BayouChateau has the best spot in town. As the heart of downtown New Iberia, there's always something happening here, from festivals and events to charming shops, bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. It's all just a few minutes away on foot, and your guests can park for free at the nearby Bouligny Plaza. Other major attractions are just a short 15-minute drive away, and Uber and taxi services are available. Perfect location, perfect property. Good communication with the host and catered to our arrival schedule. Thank you! ~~ The house was placed with the Bayou in the backyard and the downtown area right outside the front door. It had perfect access to all the downtown shops and dining spots. I absolutely loved the chateau and the city! The house was well accommodating with many different items in case you forgot to pack some. We want to come back again one day for a longer stay.!

It is perfect place to stay in south LA. Right on the Bayou and walking distance to local restaurants with fabulous food. It's driving distance to other towns so a prefect place for day trips. I would highly recommend this adorable place.

This is the best bed and breakfast to stay at in New Iberia. Located on the banks of the Bayou Teche, quiet and within walking distance to the downtown area. One Block! Great little escape

I stayed here for a few days for some rest and relaxation. The apartment is very well decorated and has everything one would need - a Keurig coffeemaker and accompaniments, stocked kitchen supplies, cable TV, wifi, and more. The location is beautiful - overlooking the bayou and just steps away from restaurants, bars & a museum. Owners are nice and thoughtful - even brought breakfast vouchers for a local restaurant. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at Bayou Chateau

We enjoyed our short stay in New Iberia. We travelled with our dog and the accommodations were great. We walked along Main Street and saw the beautiful Shadows on the Teche plantation only a few blocks away. We had a good breakfast at Victor's Cafeteria barely a block from our rental. We enjoyed a nice fire on the outdoor deck overlooking the Bayou. Mickey and Tiffany are great hosts. Thanks for everything. Hope to return again.
