"Location to nearby sites, aesthetics, and cleanliness were wonderful. The added daily “resort fee” wasn’t great, though I did appreciate the hotel offering perks in return ($15 food/beverage credit, free walking tour options). I also did not like having the hotel attached to the mall as it requires you to take two sets of elevators to get to the rooms (hotel lobby is on the 11th floor). Overall good experience, but likely won’t return as there are lots of similarly great hotels nearby that are a bit more affordable."

"Five stars across the board for this vintage hotel in the french quarter of hstoric New Orleans. I love this place and the Carolossel Bar is one of the best places to have a cocktail and relax."

"Unfortunately for four of the five days we were there we only had tepid water. Each day we asked when it would be fixed. We were told on day 3 that we may need to let the water run a half an hour before getting into it. That didn't help. On the last day as we were leaving, we finally had hit water. The safe did not work in our room. The tv wiring was dismantled and we had to reassemble it. Water stains on nightstand from previous guests."

"The room and bathroom was clean. This is an older hotel that’s perfect for a traveler looking to just book somewhere affordable and not too far from the city. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. "
