Wonderful location for New Orleans Uptown stay. Very quiet residential location closely located to Tulane and other favorite spots. Enjoyed stay and look forward to visiting the Big Easy soon.
A lovely, quiet and peaceful place to stay! Very nice, very comfortable (beds were great), and it had everything we needed. Only a short walk to the streetcar. We would most definitely stay there again.
This is my favorite vacation rental I've ever stayed at! The cottage is so clean, cute, and comfortable. I stayed with my husband and two kids, and we all loved it. It's in such a nice neighborhood and close to so many fun things to do. Everything was functional and well-stocked. The host was fantastic. It felt like a home-away-from-home, and we were sad to leave.
We loved everything about our stay. This was such a great spot. Beautiful, relaxing and away from the French Quarter, yet so close to the trolley and easy access to the city. We would love to come back again!
The cottage was clean, comfortable, and cute. It's a short walk to the streetcar line and convenient to get all over town, but it's secluded and private. Jenny put together a helpful little guide to nearby restaurants and shops, and that was a nice touch. I'd be glad to stay here again.
This cottage located in Historic Uptown was just perfect for our weekend stay in New Orleans. The cottage was clean, decorated beautifully and had very comfortable beds. It is located on a beautiful street and is walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit NO. Communication with the hosts was excellent.
This is our sixth long-term stay in NOLA and this property and hosts were by far the best. Location is terrific - a lovely mile walk to Audubon Park, St Charles street car is a few blocks away, groceries and restaurants on Freret St were easily accessible. High quality furniture and linens and original art throughout. Jenny and Jeff went out of their ways to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. We hated to leave.
Jenny and Jeff have created a little quiet sanctuary in the most convenient neighborhood uptown. We enjoyed walking to dinner and having access to the streetcar. Parking is easy and accessible on the street. Don’t hesitate to stay in this comfortable and well-designed place.
Perfect spot that did feel like home away from home.
I don't normally stay in NOLA for an entire week but my daughter was getting married and there was a lot to prepare for. I couldn't have asked for a better spot location wise and it was charming and so comfortable. I actually would have been happy to stay and I missed the place when I left! Hope to visit and stay here again.
Loved the mix of antique and modern decor and the location. Walked to coffee shop, restaurants, street car. No problems getting an Uber. Will for sure stay here again.
Beautiful apartment in a quiet neighborhood not far from Many restaurants and Tulane where we were dropping off our daughter. The owner was super friendly and helpful and love that coffee and creamer were provided!
Jenny and Jeff are such gracious hosts, and the space is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. I loved making coffee in the morning and sitting in the window after a run up the streetcar tracks. We walked to dinner at the Columns Hotel and ice cream at Lucy Boone, and we were a quick ride from a dozen great spots. I highly recommend this gorgeous spot!
This is the best VRBO stay that we have experienced. Jenny provided a lot of extras and was very accommodating for our needs. The cottage is private and quiet. We felt very safe walking to the street car or going to the local stores. Jenny was quick to respond to messages. Truly a wonderful place to stay.
Location was close to plenty of food and drink. A very short walk to the St Charles trolley line. Felt very safe walking…we saw neighborhood security patrolling. The place is a stand alone VRBO, so no neighbors with a shared wall. Very quiet and the natural light was great. Place was clean and well cared for. Would we come back? A resounding “yes!”
We stayed at the house for about a week. It's a lovely property located behind the owner's residence. Two nice bedrooms and a bath were well maintained and the air conditioning worked well. Full kitchen stocked with helpful stuff.
Two senior ladies on a 4-day NOLA getaway. We loved coming ‘home’ to the Cottage, and felt very comfortable and safe on our walk from the streetcar stop. The neighborhood is wonderful. We loved all the extras that were thought of - the facial wipes and cosmetic thingys; and the paper towels and enough toilet paper. Thank you!!! Instructions for entry and the stay were communicated perfectly. We definitely look forward to a return visit. Highly recommended.
It’s truly the very best place to stay in NOLA as long as you don’t mind not being right downtown where all the action is. But it’s not far from all that either. The owners are incredible and kind. The place is super quiet and immaculate. If you can actually find open dates, don’t book it cause I probably want too!!! No really, this is a no brainer. If there were 10 stars, I’d give it all 10!
This was the loveliest vrbo ever! The owner, Jenny, was very accommodating and helpful, allowing us an early check-in and answering all my text questions and concerns. Very kind of her to offer her cell phone number to guests. From the private gated entrance to the gracious, fragrant path to the cottage, it was a wonderful beginning of a great trip to Tulane and NOLA. The cottage itself is well-designed, well-stocked and very comfortable. We were impressed by the soft (not too soft) beds and fluffy pillows, all smelling fresh. The bathroom is stylish with white bead board and subway tiles. My daughter, granddaughter and I very much appreciated the fresh NOLA ground coffee, sugar and non-dairy creamer in the cupboard as well as the Dove body wash and shampoo in the shower. I’m not a frequent vrbo user finding most accommodations average or quirky, but this lovely cottage was the rare exception. Thanks so much Jenny!!
