The property is absolutely charming and everything was just like the posting. The property managers stayed in touch and made us feel very welcomed. As we planned our days, we realized how perfect the location is because we were close to everything. We will definitely be back.
I had an amazing stay at this property!!!! Everything was exactly like it looked online and the place was so clean! Whenever we needed something, the hosts responded quickly and even left me a gift for my bday. Very classy and great location, we walked to the french quarter MANY times. This place plus my lovely family and friends set the tone for the best bday trip ever! I would definitely stay here again and the master bathroom was just fabulous.
A Gem just a small hike from the heart of the city.
This place was just fantastic for the six of us. Clean all around the house (front/back/inside). Updated appliances (dishwasher/laundry/locks). COLD AC! I seriously have no complaints and could go on and on with things they do RIGHT!
House was exactly as pictured!! You are steps away from 3 bars but we were never disturbed by them it was quiet even when sitting out back. parking was never an issue by the house. For 8.00 you can buy a 3 day streetcar and bus pass that picks up one block from the house so we never had to move our vehicle once we got there. I will pick this house again!!
This place worked out perfectly for my husband and I and our 2 grown children. We had access to the separate unit above which is one bedroom, one bath, and the downstairs unit with 2 bedrooms one bath. It is clean and spacious. It was about a 25 walk to Bourbon Street and a 10 minute walk to Frenchmen Street. The neighborhood is a little run down, but we never felt unsafe. The property managers were very responsive, getting back to us within 15 minutes with all of our questions. I would highly recommend this place.
We had a wonderful time on our trip to New Orleans, thanks in big part to this great property. We had two families traveling together, which made this a perfect property for our group. There are essentially two units here, one downstairs with a full living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms, as well as an upstairs unit with a separate entrance with a small kitchen/dining space, spacious bathroom, and bedroom (with a sofa). Everything was clean and well-stocked, and we appreciated the vicinity to a nearby arcade/bar and cabaret lounge. It also was an easy walk to Frenchman street (though might recommend a Lyft in the evening). The locks to both units were easy to use and we always felt safe while staying there.
It was 3 friends for a few days in New Orleans. New Orleans was amazing! The house worked well for us as we all had our own beds. We felt safe in the house although the neighborhood is a bit funky looking. The uber driver was giving us all kinds of warnings when dropping us off but overall we felt safe. The walk into the French Quarter is very easy. Communication was a little tricky since it is a management company. We asked for an early bag drop off and they told us to book the night before - was a little off-putting since I am a host as well and would never tell my guests to do that. There were a couple more little things here or there but otherwise, it was a fine stay.
