Whatever you desire, beit local high end New Orleans chefs or your own personal barbecue or crawfish boil downstairs, you could always take a break of the three person canoe. You're only a few paddlestrokes from smoothly coasting through the bayou. After all you are 100 feet from Bayou Bonfouca wildlife refuge! We have considered the needs of the whole family as we have planned for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique home with a vintage flare. This lovely place on the Bonfouca Bayou has all the comforts of home plus the added grace of wonderful owners and great neighbors. Slidell, LA has so much to offer, food options are endless and gracious Southern hospitality is everywhere. New Orleans is an easy drive too. Sincerely, Roy and Alene

Eclectic beauty

This is one beautiful and spacious home. The pics on vrbo don’t do this place justice. It has everything you would need from the hot tub to the pool table with 2 kitchens and 2 living spaces. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or hosts. They were very helpful and friendly. And it’s only about 30 minutes from New Orleans. We will definitely book with them again on ur next group trip to New Orleans.

Amazingly beautiful fun house

This home is so beautiful. We enjoyed everything from the canoe, hot tub, pool table and amazing views. The hosts were helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. This is definitely one of my favorite places I have been.
