New Philadelphia is located approximately 30 miles (48 kilometres) from the Akron-Canton regional airport. Pick up a rental car at the airport. Some public transportation is available in the town, but having your own car will allow you to explore the surrounding wilderness, including Wayne National Forest and the Cuyahoga Valley.
