This was a spectacular property with perfect staff. I was there to see a show. DIanna Agron's show exceeded expectations, the food was terrific. The staff is courteous and helpful. I stay at hotels all over the world and this one was a very pleasant surprise. We will be back soon.

The staff was very accommodating. This has been one of our favorite places to stay. Bemelman’s Bar is a must.

Staying at the Carlyle was like stepping back in time, understated elegance with excellent guest services. It is an upscale hotel and is priced accordingly but it is a lovely, worthwhile experience.
LOUD ENGINE NOISES IN ROOM AT NIGHT EVERY THRITY MINUTES TO ONE HOUR STARTING EARLY IN THE MORNING AT 4 AM. STAFF SAID IT WAS POSSIBALLY LINKED TO THE AC EMPTYING OUT MOISTURE. IT WAS REALLY LOUD ALMOST LIKE A LAWN MOWER STARTING UP. THE STAFF WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE A DISCOUNT BUT IT STILL DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THE LACK OF SLEEP AND IMPACT ON HEALTH.
The hotel was beautifully restored. The bar was so much fun. The staff was amazing. The elevators didn’t work well, but the staff was there to help if we couldn’t get them to work
