The hotel is conveniently located, modern and clean, rooms are well equipped. Overall it was a comfortable stay. The hotel lacks a communal space that is accessible 24/7 for families/groups to regroup in or even simply work from, and there are many events at the hotel so the restaurant/bar were not always both accessible to hotel guests. Be advised - The pool was the big selling point for us but the system in place makes it so difficult to actually find loungers on warm days in the afternoons that we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. The hotel lets external paying customers reserve their loungers and they are prioritised over the hotel guests, despite the destination fee.

What can I say what an amazing hotel!! From the front desk to the pool guys to housekeeping absolutely five star. Loved the pool on the 4th floor it’s a godsend in the NYC summer heat. Rooms are super clean and spacious and the view of the Empire State Building is something special. Do your self a favour and book this gem in NYC. I’m loyal to the virgin brand and can’t wait to return.

This is my third stay at Virgin Hotels in NYC. It’s good. However, I expect Virgin properties to be great. Each time I’m here, something is just off a bit. During this visit, I had a few issues. I requested housekeeping three times, once including a turndown service, they never got up to my room. It wasn’t until I got home around 11pm that I called a fourth time and requested to at least get the towels that I needed, if nothing else. They did come up after that final request. The food is always good, but I was brought open and used mini condiments with my dinner service. The front desk staff is nice, Jenny gave me wonderful service! The view is the best.

Beautiful 5 star hotel with exceptionally nice staff. Our room was a city view on the 31st floor with spectacular views including The Empire State Building. 20 minutes by Uber to theatre district. I would stay here again
