Beautiful apartment in the West Village
Location was perfect. Loved my apartment. Best place to stay and feel like you actually live in the city. Great alternative to staying in a hotel - plenty of space. Would definitely stay there again.

I really disliked this apartment. It was incredibly noisy and I could not sleep all week. I also found the building to be very old and yuck and also a little unsettling. I also find the hidden 4% fee to use a credit card appalling and absolutely ridiculous. Do not recommend.

Dear Jaclyn, Thank you for your review. First of all, we are very sorry to hear you found your experience unpleasant. There is absolutely NO hidden fees. When you book the place on Expedia and partners like hotels.com, PLEASE read all the amenities and fees included and not included in the total amount. The 4% fee is DISCLOSED on the booking page. Second of all, our building is a pre-war walk up, like 90% of buildings in West Village and nearby areas. So please research the information about the area and neighborhoods before booking. Lastly, noise. It’s not just our apartment. You are in Manhattan, it’s noisy. Moreover you are in West Village - most popular and sought after neighborhood in the City. You can’t have all the advantages of being in the center of everything, in one of the busiest Cities in the world and have a quiet environment. Please, don’t forget - you are in Manhattan. We recommend looking in Brooklyn or Queens for the quieter place.

Super cute apartment in a very loud neighborhood.
MySuites decor is very chic and well represented by the photos. The concierge was great and incredibly helpful. The kitchen could have been better. There was only one pot, and no coffee, sugar, tea etc...I would have given it a higher rating if not for our arrival experience which to be fair isn't really MySuites. We arrived quite late at night and there was no light at the entrance and there was a large group of people selling drugs on the stoop. It was pretty sketchy and scary. We were with our daughter which added stress to the situation. Our stay was over a holiday weekend so it was very busy and loud in the neighborhood and perhaps not always the case.

West Village is a busy neighborhood, its quite popular among tourists and locals. In the late night hours it can seem sketchy anywhere in Manhattan. We know that for the first time visitors it could be a bit stressful. In the reality New York is a very busy place, not a peaceful getaway. However that is one of the reasons that attracts people from all over the world. Our suites are located in the heart of West Village - a safe area and a safe building that provides access only to our guests. We will check the lighting and definitely make improvements. Also a comment for the future guests - please let us know what exactly you are missing at your arrival (pots, pans, extra linens etc) and we will be happy to provide them. Our check in manager is always available for any requests!

For those of you wanting to try out the W Village
This is not a hotel, this is an apartment that you will be renting. So no maid service, but you do get a small kitchen and a separate bedroom. If you want to have your own pot of coffee in the morning and relax, this is the place you want. The pictures are accurate. It is lovely. Cutely decorated. Very West Village New York vibe. I loved the fresh flowers on the table and the soft sheets and comforter. I rate beds as follows: super soft, medium soft, medium, and unsleepable. The bedroom has a medium soft mattress- you decide if that works for you. I like super soft, but this was fine for me. You also have a cool fire escape outside your windows (just like the movies), with adorable Christopher street outside with trees and a gorgeous church across the street. So much shopping and eating outside your door, and the coolest of cool Bleeker Street is one block away. AC is in the window, but it worked great. I like it pretty cool at night and this did the trick. If there are more than two of you, please note there are two twin mattresses in the living room that are set up as a couch, but can be used as twin beds as well. Regarding the severity of the steps of the walkup: there are two flights to walk up. I took a picture of one of the flights. Double that and decide if that works for you. There is no elevator. I do not have mobility issues, but I HATE walking up steps. That being said I was fine with it and didn't have any issues. It was actually easier than I thought.

Comfortable apartment for weekend trip
This apartment was gem, clean, comfortable and very close to my daughter's apartment. The only downside is that it was a 3rd story walk up and there always seemed to be a collection of very loud people hanging around in the evening. I was glad that I packed our ear plugs and eye masks for sleeping.

This Christopher Suite apartment in the West Village is in a perfect location. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and cafes and life. The Christopher Street Metro station is literally just a few feet away from the door, which makes getting anywhere in the city a breeze. The apartment was spacious and clean, although we had to ask for a few more kitchen amenities. Our biggest complaint is that MySuites fails to include in their description the fact that a night club/bar plays EVERY night of the week until 3 in the morning, if not later. Our apartment faced the back of the building, so I don't know if this is also an issue for the front-facing apartments. I realize that MySuites has little control over these kinds of things, but it should at least be included in the description so that you have a choice about your location. The absolute WORST part of the stay was the night club employees emptying their glass (and seemingly rummaging around in it for 30 minutes) EVERY night at any point between 1:30-4:00 in the morning. It's right outside the windows of the apartment and it's much more disturbing than the music or bass from the night club could ever be. It would be great if MySuites were able to arrange with the night club managers for this to either happen during normal business hours or for them to wait until the evening of the following night to do this.

We would also like to comment on your feedback about the bars on the block. West Village, Meatpacking District, Soho are neighborhoods famous for restaurants, bars, nightlife, shopping - so pretty busy with locals and tourists. But thats where you want to be in the City, that is the spirit of New York and you can't expect a complete quietness. For more "laid back" environment and if you don't mind spending over 40 minutes in the subway you can find great places in Brooklyn or on the Upper East/West Side of Manhattan. Also everyone has different noise sensitivities - and what is loud for one person can be normal for the other. If you are noise sensitive but want to stay in West Village, please notify us and we will accommodate you on the higher floor. The street view apartments actually have bedrooms on the back - so they are not considered very noisy.

I recommend this but there were some minor issues.
The apartment is pretty nice and very well-located. Bath soap /shampoo not provided but lots of other amenities (e.g., coffee maker with filters). MySuites adds $25 for using a credit card. An unspecified credit card charge is listed in the booking details but the exact amount should be listed and I think Hotels.com should include that in the final quoted price with taxes etc (it didn't so I was surprised and confused when the extra $25 went on my card). The apartment door was sticking but not enough to bother us. Nevertheless, the maintenance guy showed up at 10 am on Saturday with no warning and entered the apartment, scaring the heck out of me and my friend. But, overall the MySuites people were friendly and helpful.

We do provide shampoo and soap at all suites. They are situated inside of the wall mounted jars in the bathroom. You might not have noticed them because of the shower curtain covering a part of the wall. 2. We do charge 4% on all credit card transactions but always wave it if the guests pay with cash, check or wire. We are working with Expedia.com to make it more clear on their website. 3. I do apologize for the maintenance person walking in the apartment. To my knowledge he came on Saturday morning along with the check in manager to fix the door lock. The check in manager knocked on the door first. It might be that you didn’t hear them knocking.

Bait and Switch with MySuites
I originally booked to stay in Greenwich village, however the day of the trip I received an email saying that my original accommodations were no longer available and that they were moving me to the east side or I could cancel. Due to the late information finding another place would have been difficult. The MySuites team confirmed that they would offer a discount, the check in was fairly easy. However, since I have checked out I was billed for the full amount and no one from MySuites is returning emails.

This location is safe/normal during the day. At night I was not comfortable walking in the area alone. Two subway stops on the street, so many sketchy ppl coming thru the area. Loud bar across the street but could hear another bar from the interior side of building. Bring ear plugs!

If you prefer the quieter environment (which is in general not typical for Manhattan) you could try Upper East Side, or even better explore Brooklyn. West Village is one of the most popular tourist spots of Manhattan due to many shops, restaurants, bars, parks (Washington Square, High line), neighborhoods like Chelsea and Soho, multiple subway connections - all within walking distance. It is crowded with tourists from all over the world as well as students who attend New York University and Parsons School of design which are located a few blocks away. So if you do want to fully experience the best of City life - welcome to West Village.

Not much bang for your buck.
There was a 5% fee charges for paying with a credit card that was not listed anywhere. Our location was changed twice, once the day we arrived. The ‘last time minute deal’ of 30% off wasn’t accurate. When I looked at the weekly rate we were paying the same full daily rate. The floor was painted white and there were a few signs about not wearing shoes in then apartment or you’ll be charged for damage to the floor. Seriously, who paints a floor white? My ‘suites’ is pretty funny cuz it’s really just an old 1 bedroom apartment in a great location.

Very nice apartment
This apartment is lovely and in a very well maintained building. It was easy to check-in and the furnishings and amenities were great. I think there are different apartments but this on is very close to the subway. It was also very close to a bar that was loud at night which only mattered because we are not late night partiers. All in all though, a good stay.

We booked this apartment for my family. It was great. We don’t have mobility issues, so a third floor walk up wasn’t a problem. The crib was a pack and play so bring a sheet if you need it. They don’t provide toiletries, you need to bring shampoo/conditioner/body wash. There were plenty of towels though! The rooms were large for a NYC apartment, and it was quiet for being in the middle of Greenwich Village! It was a little hot, but nothing an open window couldn’t handle. WiFi was fine for multiple devices streaming content. We really appreciated having a working kitchen so we could make baby food and bottles. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about check in and check out times, but read the terms and conditions to make sure you’re okay with them! We accepted the fact that if we got sick that we’d lose the entire amount of rent. We asked about the late check in time even though we didn’t need to use it. Traffic caused us to be late for our check in but it was within the window so we were fine. Check out was 11am not noon as it states, but we were planning to leave early anyway. Again confirm with MySuites if you have issues.

In short, the apartment was great! Surprisingly quiet although I can imagine someone sleeping in the living room would hear more noise from the street. MySuites Stay
We stayed at the location on 82 Christopher Street. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The bathtub can do with a replacement and the faucet liked. There is no elevator in the building so you have to carry your luggage up to the second floor. The surrounding area has great restaurants within walking distance. My only concern is that we did see people around doing drugs.

SUCKS BIGTIME
Access to the room was not safe (we were never met to be checked in). The manager left a key taped outside the front door and the room open EEEK When we accessed the room it was not as documented (I have photos and a PDF of the booking). There was one bed and a trundel pushed into a corner (not a queen and two doubles); not enough linens - no pillow cases; and the bathroom was very very grubby. We cancelled with hotels.com and we're charged the full price despite their agreeing to the cancellation; now two weeks later I still don't have a refund. I did of course have to find my own alternate accommodations. VERY POOR INDEED

Horrible experience. They send me a text two hours before check-in time saying the reservation was canceled due to overbooking. I tried and call, text, email them. No answer. That's the last thing you want to hear after a ten hours flight.

NYC Apartment was great!
MySuites provides walk-up apartment lodging much like an AirBNB but less single-owner managed, and more like a business. They text you directions and check in to see if everything is going according to expectations, but you don't meet up with a stranger. The flat was awesome and big enough to sleep a family of five, but was less expensive as a last-minute booking than most moderate three-four star hotels in mid-town or West Village, so it was a bargain for a high-end two bedroom right off Bleeker St. I'd do it again in a hearbeat.

Exceptional suites - great location
I come to NYC can on a regular basis, I usually stay at boutique hotels like the ACE hotel, or if I stay longer I look for some furnished apartments. I must say that MySuites surpassed all my expectations by far. They combine services apartment with the style and derives if a boutique hotel. There is nothing like that in NYC. The suite I stayed was in amazing location just off Bleecker street, very well decorated, cozy and stylish! A perfect stay.

I come to New York city every month for business. I have been alternating Boutique hotels, and short terms rentals or serviced apartments, but I must say that mysuites surpassed my expectations by far. Is not about teh luxury but the whole package they offer: unbeatable locations, apartment decorated and finishing with great sense of style ( it's just different from all other places I stayed before). Again it's just a question of taste not luxury! great additional services, like the private driver and access to Equinox in the West Village. Understate building, very pleasant staff to relate to ( although there is no front desk). Strongly recommended in the West Village and Soho, you can't go wrong.

This apartment was filthy! There were crumbs in the sink and on the kitchen counters. Stains on the counters and and specks of scum/ filth in the sink in the bathroom. Dirt on the floor in the bathroom and dust mites floating about. Finger prints on the refrigerator. Light bulbs out in the bathroom and in the closet. We open the door to the laundry closet to find a mop that looks like it was from 1985 - filthy - along with a dirty rag on the floor and some damp dirty rags under the sink. When we undid the curtains, the hooks fell off the wall one of the screw went right into my foot There was one random washcloth in a basket, which we honestly, weren't sure if it was dirty or clean. No hand towels, no paper towels and no extra toilet paper. The tv in the living room had random cords unplugged and we could not figure out how to work it. Turns out, it didn't work. Wifi went out for about 4 days of our 7 night stay - my work is dependent on being connected.

I booked My Suites-Christooher suites because of the convenience to my purpose in NYC however I was moved to Bowery suites which meant a long walk or subways (additional time and costs). I was told there was a problem with the original reservation, but never received a specific reason, and that Bowery suites was the nicer place with a higher cost BUT they were covering the additional costs. Though the suite was quite nice there was construction occurring that started by 8 am each day. Now why would you move someone to a facility with construction ??? Without their approval or request ?? If i want to wake up before 8 am and have noise all day I could have stayed home and saved a lot of money. I suppose my first instinct to doubt hotels.com ability to provide what they advertised was correct.

Excellent location and great apartment
This is the perfect location and spot in New York. Walking distance to almost everywhere. Great to have an apartment with a Gourmet Garage across the street and a bottle shop around the corner. I was in town to see a group of old friends and could invite them to come over for a drink before we went out. Had to do some work in between and it felt like I had my own place instead of a cramped hotel room. The apartment was nice and tidy, very comfortable bed and great service. Would very much recommend this to anyone visiting NY.

Appartamento in bella posizione,
L'arrivo è stato traumatico: diluviava, non si trovava la porta d'ingresso, abbiamo fatto tante telefonate per scoprire finalmente che un bar aveva la chiave, ci siamo trovati due piani di scale molto ripide da salire con la valigia.. alla fine siamo entrate e l'appartamento era molto piacevole e luminoso. Dopo non siamo più riuscite a metterci in contatto con la proprietà, abbiamo mandato un messaggio chiedendo come fare per riscaldamento, TV che non funzionava, difficoltà di aprire le finestre, acqua ustionante, prese che si staccavano dal muro, non abbiamo avuto risposta, ma alla fine ci si adatta e ci siamo state bene per una settimana. È un peccato, con un po' più di manutenzione potrebbe essere un appartamento perfetto!

素敵なホテル
ＮＹ生活を感じさせてくれる素晴らしいホテルです。キッチン、洗濯機、乾燥機・・・生活に必要なものは全てそろっており、まるでＮＹで暮らしているような気分になります。アパートメントタイプなので、チェックインという感じではなく、自分で鍵を開けて・・という形となり、何か困ったことが起こった時には英語が必要になるので、まったく離せない人にはお勧めできませんが、それを差し引いてでも滞在する価値はあると思います。仕事柄、ＮＹでも色々なホテルを利用しましたが、ここが一番気に入りました。またＮＹに来た際には利用したいと思います。素晴らしい！

Perfekt plassering men trenger vedlikehold
Fin leilighet med to rom inklusive kjøkken og separat bad. For en familie på fire ble sovefasilitetene litt trange. Ett soverom med stor seng var bra. Sovesofa på stue/dagligrom var i minste laget for to gutter på 11 og 15 år. Sengetøyet var slitt, men vi rask hjelp til å skifte sengetøy. Renhold kan bli bedre. Gardiner var slitte. Serviceminded vertskap. Plassering i West Village/Greenwich er perfekt for å oppleve musikkliv, restauranter og severdigheter.

Very beautiful apartment and excellent location
The apartment The Salt Suites Delux was just what I was looking for, very much "the Village" style. Comfortable, large windows facing the street, quiet, well equipped, good wifi and on the first floor. Kristin and Martín very helpful with early check in and late check out. I will rent ir again on my next trip to NY.

Too pricy - expected more
Definately too pricy, and there was a mismatch between add and deliverance. Room only suitable for love couples and only for few days. Location great.
