Great place! Everything as advertised except the location, which is not so near Prospect Park — it’s on 4th Avenue near the Union Street subway, which is actually very convenient. Host was super communicative and check in was a breeze. Also note the paucity of windows, if that matters to you.

Wonderful apartment and great location! It was perfect for our family vacation to NYC. It certainly exceeded our expectations! The apartment has all the amenities and is in a very nice area. Walk up to 5th street if you have time for a meal or drinks in Brooklyn.The subway stop is right around the corner, about 15 minutes to Wall Street and 25 minutes to Midtown Manhattan! the Host was very responsive and helped out with recommendations for the area. We will be recommending this apartment to any of our friends visiting NYC and will stay here again when visiting!

This is it - new, clean, 2 bdrm spot, equipped with a fully stocked kitchen. Kids loved the nearby park and we loved the location - just a few blocks from Union station and from the heart of park slope. Will stay again!

The apartment was absolutely fabulous. There were countless small touches that really make it a superior listing. This property is amazing. Host went out of their way to make sure we had all the information we needed for our first trip to New York! Easy access to subway and the area was safe and had great restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely book here again on my next visit. The apartment is amazing also. Great Location, awesome interior design

Garden level apartment in an excellent location 2 blocks away from nearest subway entrance and a short walk to main destinations in park slope. Although the apartment does not have much natural light, the interior design was smartly made such that it feels cozy and warm. The space is excellent and we would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was that the water from the taps can come out scolding hot.

First - location. It’s just a couple blocks from the train, around the corner from a great women-owned bakery & cafe, & about a 15 min walk to Prospect Park (the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings is a good one!) Park Slope itself has plenty of small shops, restaurants, etc. to explore and you’re about a 25 min walk to Fort Greene, which has its own plethora of storefronts & coffee shops.The home itself was exceptionally clean & well-stocked, and the bowl of snacks to welcome us upon arrival was a nice touch (esp when traveling w/ 2 teenage boys.) Comfy beds, plenty of towels & toiletries, & a washer/dryer in unit made it an easy stay.Communication was friendly & prompt - hosts were kindly flexible w/our check-out time. Would stay again!

Great Neighborhood, Close to everything

My wife and I stayed here with our three year-old. We had everything we needed. The apartment was very tastefully decorated extremely clean. We loved the location in Park slope a block and a half walk to the Union Street train station and three stops into Manhattan. A very cute and up-and-coming neighborhood with tons of good food and coffee, shops, etc.. I would highly recommend staying here for those looking for their own quaint little space with very close proximity to the city and a great neighborhood. Oh, did I mention Whole Foods is a one minute drive away….

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was conveniently located in a really nice part of Brooklyn. Walking distance to Barclay Center and the Brooklyn Museum and easy commute into Manhattan. The apartment was beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. Everything was well appointed with thoughtful little touches like snacks, coffee, tea and quality toiletries. We loved the open concept living and spacious bedrooms. The hosts were so communicative and very quick to respond. We were surprised how quiet it was in the apartment and barely heard street noise. Everything about this space was perfectly thought out, and maintained beautifully. The host clearly communicated all the necessary information. They were a pleasure to work with. The space itself is a perfect little haven in a bustling city. Everything was clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the necessary day to day needs plus some bonus items like snacks, a purified water cooler with cold and hot taps, and bathroom/beauty supplies just to name a few. The washer and dryer were new and very clean, and were a godsend for us. The neighborhood was great. Everything we needed was within walking distance. There were tons of choices for food and drink, grocery stores, and shops. There were multiple entrances to the subway not far from the rental that allowed us to explore from Coney Island to Central Park in manhattan. We would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a place to stay in Brooklyn. You won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful little gem in Park Slope, NY

My family and I looked for a place that could accommodate 2 couples and 3 visiting adult children for Thanksgiving dinner. And what a spot we found! A gem! Two generous bedrooms, state-of-the-art appliances, comfortable furniture and amenities galore. Gus and Michael did a wonderful job with the interior decor. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were nice and fluffy and the bathroom had a zen flair. Train station is literally 5mn walk away, coffee and bagel shops not too far and right there a Starbucks for quick caffeine runs. We really enjoyed this apartment and will soon be back! Thanks, Gus and Michael for all the attention and quick replies!

5th trip to NYC. Best VRBO yet. 1 block to Subway which means 45-60 min to Broadway. Uber no faster. Just remodeled. Clean. 2 large BR w/ suitcase space and hangup. Each has split for separate temp control with new style quiet overhead fans as well. Perfect for early sleepers or late sleepers because everyone else can be in great room with large couch large TV. Full kitchen fully stocked including barware. Decorated like a home not rental. Water cooler for water bottles etc. Quiet safe Park Slope with numerous places for coffee, food, takeout. Modern full washer and dryer. Bodega with fresh fruit veg., groc etc 1/2 block away. Wine/liquor 1/2 block. Great place to gather and rejuvenate and fix meals. Open living area huge by NYC standards. Host available quickly when needed. Helped me when my flight was cancelled. Heat modern radiator so not dry heat. Weather in teens for us but warm and comfy inside including new wood flooring. I can’t think of anything else I would add.

Fantastic Park Slope/Brooklyn Apartment! A

First of all, the location was excellent. 2 blocks from the subway which connected you to any area in New York City. Very close to several major shopping and restaurant streets. It couldn't be more convenient! The apartment has all the amenities one would need. Towels and linens, washer/dryer/laundry soap, kitchen items, extra trash bags, overhead fans and a/c. It was super comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well organized. A great TV system with all the expected services available was perfect. My sons appreciated the bowl of chips and granola bars...! Such a warm and wonderful touch! The only downside is that it is somewhat dark, with only a couple of small windows to the outside. But the lighting in the unit certainly offsets this minor issue. Michael & Hugo were outstanding communicators from the moment I reserved the property to checking out. Messages were answered quickly and efficiently. I personally appreciated the daily check-in message to see if anything was needed. I can't recommend this unit highly enough. It was perfect for my 6 nights in New York. Thank you Michael & Hugo!
